I've seen several new post that say.."TAKEN" or "OWNED" to my thinking why come on this site to just say you belong to someone already...it makes no sense to me....I can see if you are here for awhile and find someone...then it is reasonable to say..."hey I now belong to someone don't bother me." But to start out saying your taken or owned is beyond me. Why? What is the purpose? Enlighten me as to the reason behind this practice.

Because many come to learn... or they come for the boards... and some even say that to keep trolls from hounding them day and night. Gee, go figure.. many reasons.

For the same reason as some people only come to the boards to whine like a three year old who has had their candy stolen! Because they can! Maybe they want to keep in touch with friends... maybe they want to use the message boards to ask questions and learn, or to just make friends.

To find like minded folk that they can discuss this side of themselves with. To find other play partners but NOT an owner. To make friends and connections either locally or places they may be visiting or considering relocating to. To read and participate in the boards. Just cause they want to...

Come on tazzy... no woman has the right to join Collarme unless she is an acceptable piece of meat to be taken and used by domly men, at their pleasure! Everyone knows that...and the improvement of her mind (if that can actually be found here, lol) is highly overated in a female anyway...so if she is on here for her own reasons, let alone at the direction of the one who is her Dom/Master.... she should be castigated for taking up the time of the men who want to troll quickly without having to read those pesky profiles before using her for their own purposes.... er...right... The misconceptions/projections that many have about this site, what it is used for and how it is a dating site only or a sex site, are rather telling about the people who have them. It is their focus that they feel is everyone's focus and they can see no other reason for the site. It's sad really, if you think about it. They cannot see the many things this site offer's besides their focus and they cannot see any other way than their way it seems. To be so singular in thought or motivation is a sad thing. So ask not what is wrong with everyone else... but what is wrong with you that you cannot see the many purposes that people could have in being a part of this web site.

Although Master and I met on here in 2006, I still stay a part of CM. He has recently had me change my name, so that is why my particular profile is new and has OWNED at the top. While this is a personals site, it's also a social site. A lot of people get to know each other in the chat rooms and on the msg boards. I can't imagine why anyone else cares what someone else has on their profile, but that's just me.

One definition of this word is "A group of people having common interests"....which you will find here on CM. Not everyone is looking for a partner. Because some people actually see others as human beings worth conversing and connecting with even if they aren't getting any sex out of it. Imagine that. [8\|] People who can't grasp this concept are not only no fun to talk to, they're no fun to date or play with either. A pity there's so many of them on adult sites. I guess sites like these tend to draw them out of the woodwork. And by "them" I mean the type who views people as only good for sexual purposes rather than as human beings who might actually be cool to make friends with.

This one is quite happily owned also and joined CM because Sir instructed me to, stayed because of the message boards. Though this one does not post often, I read ALOT. Hoping to eventually have more to say!

Some of us will never have "taken" or "owned" on our profiles but you still have about as much of an ice cube's chance in hell, of ever scoring with us. What, pray tell, is the difference?

Im much the same here really, I actually didnt even know it was a networking site before i joined. I found the board, liked it and joined in with the discussions... Mainly to learn more and make new friends really.. so ner ner[:D]
