Alright,

So I'm up, enjoying the day, spending time with my sub friends here and off of CM and we are talking about a subject that always baffles women. Or at least us. Why exactly do men lie about the size of their junk? Do they not realize when you see it you're gonna KNOW they lied?

The only man who has an 8 and a half inch who haa that I have physically seen with my own eyes, is the one I'm married to. But just because you have a 747 doesn't mean you know how to land it. Now..that being said I was never one to be all into a guy having to have the biggest...just know what you're doing and it's fine. Had more than my fair share of those who are delusional and think they are big and are banging away like crazy thinking they are doing something. But I don't get the whole lie about it thing and I don't get why you just don't play to your strengths. If you're not big then work with what you got and learn that all women are different.

I just don't get it. I don't have big boobs, I'm not in the BEST shape, but I know how to work with what I got and I play to my strengths. What is up with the lying out there guys? I think that's the first breach of trust if you tell your sub or imply being a certain size and then she or he finds out it was a lie...anyone care to explain or is this too touchy a subject?

Yeah it's never baffled me.

For many men their manhood lies in the size of their penis. The bigger the cock, the more of a man they are.

They're not concerned with the whole bit of you finding out they lied. They figure by the time you figure that out you'll be smitten with them and you won't be able to resist their manliness.

I think most men exaggerate at least a little bit. Some just do so more than others.

I have to say that i TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!! I have been there, more than once.

And its not even always an lie told online... I'd met a guy back when i was dating, and to let me know what a "good catch" he was he make sure to tell me how hung he is...

So I start dating said loser, not based on that, but keeping it in mind.... the BIG day comes, and it aint that big... WTF?!?!

Now as far as saying weather someone is a "weal" or "fake" Dom, I won't get into that, but expecting perfect trust and honestly from me when you started off with "the BIG lie" (major kudos on the title, there!) just doesn't sit well in my book!

See Little and Wine, that's just what I'm talking about. I can't speak for all women but again I say..know what you're doing the rest can be worked around. But I do consider it a weakness...insecurity if you will, to have to lie about the size of your goodies. Don't see me stuffing my bra and then lying about the size of MY twins. I would think here it's a matter of just..find the person who finds you attractive. Not a fake you with photoshopped pics or worse yet avoiding the subject altogether and trying to hide because you're worried your sub won't like you because you aren't packin. I'd rather have the strong Dom with a one incher than a Dom with a one incher who lies and says he has 8 when he doesn't. But that's just me...

To be honest I've never had a guy tell me what size he was unless he was one of these people who msgs me with "hi, wanna cam?".

Other than that I've yet to meet a guy who says straight out what his size is and I don't ask because it's just not important to me. I really don't care as long as we "fit" together nicely physically, mentally, spiritually.

According to The Man, it comes from changing publicly in high school locker rooms and getting either respect or being denigrated over this.

And of course since the size changes when it gets hard, they get penalized incorrectly since it could well be that the shortest soft one when hard could be bigger than the biggest soft one when hard.

High school is a bitch, making people change clothes in front of others is just emotional sadism at its worst. A friend's daughter was going to fail 7th grade because she wouldn't change into her gym clothes. She had to explain to her mother that the heavier girls (like her) were getting teased. Her mother had to talk to the principal and finally she got a pass to change in the bathroom. If they would put up curtained alcoves to begin with, none of this stuff would happen.

Well add to that the media who perpetuate these sterotypes. I love that in Vogue I believe it was this past month, a blonde gorgeous woman posed nude...with her belly and stretch mark showing. It's not the changing in front of I thnk that does it. I think it's that we've for too long told people if they don't look like Megan Fox when they are naked (FYI even Megan Fox doesn't look like Megan Fox naked, the miracles of airbrush people) then they aren't beautiful. I imagine men feel the same way. I for one am tired of feeling bad for who I'm not. And I don't think men should persecute themselves in this way either. Be proud of what you got. You know, I've always tried to be honest about my body... and I've gotten some pretty nasty reactions from people because of that honesty.... (shrug) Maybe I've had bad luck all these years, and have just kept running into size queen after size queen.

But I have a question, MMagic, (seriously) if cock size doesn't matter so much for you, then why did you make a point to mention that your hubby has 8+, and he was the only guy you ever met with that kind of endowment? Kinda undercuts your argument, I think.
Obviously, it IS important to you, and then you ask about why guys lie about it...

Great topic, and excellent posts!!! i'm in total agreeance. But with one thing i'd like to add from my own opinion. If i were to get with a guy, Dom or vanilla....wouldn't matter either kind of relationship....and found out he lied to me about the size of his penis? It'd be over in a heart beat. No matter what else is going on in the relationship the one thing i've never been able to deal with is lies of any kind. If a guy can lie to you about something that is actually as insignificant as the size of his equipment eventually he will lie to you about something else. Once the trust is gone? Adios dude, i'm outta here. No trust, no relationship, end of my story.

Sorry if this sounds kinda harsh, but i absolutely HATE being lied to.
