When I responded to this thread I was referring to the people that send me emails I was not referring to message boards or anything public. Those I can easily ignore, kind of hard when they are sent to you. And yes, after a few lines I usually ignore them too...lol

I am actually 12 inside, but I was a very serious and mature kid. Some things seem ok to me, the flouncing is almost normal in CM, whereas the preparing a drink and serving it is less so.

Someone else pointed out that this type of thing might be expectation, and for this instance I will have to agree.

As it turns out I was reading the wall of people who only have engaged in bdsm in the cyber realm. For them, "sighing softly", "growls with discontent" appears to be a way of putting a reality to their relationships. And OMG these are indeed complex relationships! Rarely have I seen such angst, animosity and rumors, played between camps of people for and against the actions of a few.

I wonder if this is where my bias keeps me from enjoying this sort of descriptive dialogue. In the early days of AOL I can recall more than a few chat rooms where these things were common.. and those that discouraged the practice. Inevidibly when one crossed over into other rooms the wars would start again, you MUST do this, no, you MUST not.

It was too much drama for me.

Oh, my..I forgot how when Red gives me huggles and I give her huggles back, it really turns me on and I have to wank later. Who wouldn't with the thought of that hot redhead rubbing up against ya? I have no idea how that slipped my mind.

I remember that from the old yahoo chat rooms, and indeed it did convey a mood. That I understood.

What I'm referring to are people sending me emails wanting me to repond back in kind and further, if you know what I mean. Some I try to ignore and just stick to the conversation at hand, but after a while they get frustrated and want, ask, demand that I tell them what I would do to them if they were here.

Again, not really talking about the random hug or if we were talking about something and he or she thought I needed a drink and said something like "hands her a drink"....so not what I'm referring to. I'm talking about the long drawn out narratives that people send to my email and expect me to "play" along.

For me, it depends on how playful & imaginative I'm feeling, & engaging in 'narrative speak' is about creating a mood, conveying an impression, &, generally, trying to entertain & / or amuse . . . . .

&, for the record, I have not engaged in role-playing games or that sorta thing. Don't do chat rooms, that never really clicked for me . .. . .

I think a lot of my negative feelings for it, do stem from early net years exploring various chat rooms and the obnoxious emails. Now I am having fond memories of egging on the trolls in a chatroom on AFF I used to frequent years ago........ once a sadist, always a sadist.

Still, most of it annoys the fuck out of me and I don't see that changing. Just too..........RPG or whatever, for me.
