Status: offline 		We've kept multiple servants, and have also had multiple Keepers as well as members who weren't involved in authority exchange at all as part of our family, but it does take a great deal of diligence as a Keeper to manage multiple servants effectively and in a way where everyone thrives and grows from the experience. I wouldn't want to keep multiples if they didn't have a purpose in our home. It's been my experience that people who don't know why they're in a situation and don't feel needed and wanted don't thrive in that situation -- and since a house where people aren't thriving isn't a happy home, well...

Status: offline 		My Sir certainly does not have issues with difficulty finding another or others. They throw themselves at His feet. He seems to be tripping over all the others that wish to serve Him. I am a bit unnerved by this, but don't get me wrong I am very honoured that out of all of them, Sir does choose to have me  be a part of His home.

Status: offline 		Sir has always had this issue of women throwing themselves at Him, even in the "vanilla" world. He is very attractive and sometimes arrogant, but CAN be quite charming when He wishes. (Oh gosh I hope He doesn't read that!  Ha! You know it's true, Sir =)

Status: offline 		As conceited as it sounds I think I know how he feels.

As to whether it's common or not, I can't say for certain, but I would have to guess that it's not as common for a Dom to have more than sub/slave. I know I couldn't because my current slave isn't into poly, and nor am I really. And thus far every woman I've been involved with, vanilla or kink, has jealousy issues, and it would cause problems for sure. More trouble than it's worth in my opinion.

But, as I said, I would assume it's not too common.

i believe the numbers vary and there are a host of arrangements that exist as the thread demonstrates. in my own circumstances discussions have occurred regarding a second person that would be service oriented and primarily utilized for domestic purposes. i would be solely responsible for his training, well being, and any behavior modification that is necessary.

however, as the slave in the dynamic, he would belong to both persons and is expected to respond in a certain manner to the primary dominant party. i'm comfortable functioning in this capacity or in a specified term of training or mentoring as he permits. however, it is understood that the original pairing would remain as is and would not lead to the formulation of polygamous relations.

Yeah I now well a couple who have multiples. For me the ideal is two boys and two girls which again ideally would be two slave/salve couples.

Practically, are you fucking insane??? Imagine several wives and multiple (lots) of children. I am not really child orientated and I would see it as absolute purgatory. Jesu, give me a combat zone in some stinking jungle any time.

Status: offline 		I've Owned multiple girls a number of times over the years.... more frequently Owned one and had a couple of subs/playpartners as well.

Long gone however are those teenage days when I would take on so many that I was spread too thin without time to do anything more than have a shallow superficial relationship. I learned to accurately assess My Own limitations on time and energy, keeping things within what I can manage. For Me that means not Owning more than two, though I will still on occasion take playpartners.

OH and 10 - 1? Well if you include the malesubs, the scammers, the predators, the wannabes and the lower level Dynamics... yes I am sure there maybe a ratio of 10-1 males to females.............. But believe Me I have met far for genuine slaves out her in the real world than I have encountered actual Masters  Even in the periods where I haven't had a girl.... it isn't because of lack of offers it is because of lack of finding what *I* considered compatable enough to warrent spending My time and effort on.

I think there many that try, but ulitmately someone ends up getting the short end of the stick. I can't see a submissive wanting to share her Master with another. With life, work, children and other time demands, there seems to be so little time even for those who have only one. To split what little time is left between one or twomore, I do not think a submissive deserves half or a third of a dominant.

Why is that such a hard concept to grasp. There are both men and women who can garner such attention regardless of ratio
