I have no clue who Alex Jones is, nor do I care to.  I also made no reference to him anywhere in my post.  See page 3 for validation of said non-reference.

The Larouchians, and there are plenty where I live, are pretty much all conspiracy theorists and freaks.  I don't buy into conspiracies, I deal with facts, not hypotheticals.  So, I think I'll stay on this end of the whack-job pool, tyvm.  Others are welcome to tread where they like.

Its all over now, thankfully. Tomorrow it will be back to normal... except the added cost to businesses in Oakland and surrounding areas.

You are a tad bit confused. Allow me to explain. There was a triangular section of downtown that was basically off limits to everyone but police. The dignitaries didnt even travel by roads, they were choppered in to the hotel. Obama was at the William Penn... the Canadians at the Weston.. ect. Pittsburgh in a large city... Avalon, my city, is about 5 miles to the north. Oakland is about 4 miles to the East. Pitt University, Carnigie Melon, Carlow University... heck.. even Pamelas Diner is there... she made the pancakes Obama raved about.


So, what really confuses me, paboy, is that here you are complaining about an event that you know little about, in a city you know nothing about, related to people you have never met, and listening to insane people give you crazy notions about the whole thing.

because it is not normal for military to kidnap people on the street.

and as i suspected it wasnt the military. and the kid was doing something he shouldnt have been. and everyone wants to rush to the belief that the government is picking on the poor citizens... and that does sometimes happen... but not as often as you may wish to believe.

Likely - it would be a case by case bases I would guess.

Whelp, I survived Oakland and Forbes avenue.  I got there a little late and missed some the majority of the crazyness tonight but I got a couple videos that show that MASSIVE number of police installed in the area.  Busses upon busses of cops in full riot gear, and I don't even know how many K-9 units.

I'll post a youtube link when I get home.
