When Obama's supposed socialist policies were compared to the New Deal, many on these boards argued that FDR had ulterior motives for entering WWII.

The Bush administration's primary reason for war was proven false.  So they were either lying or seriously incompetent.

The point being, all these charges had some basis in fact.

The claims of Obama's Kenyan birth and Clinton being a drug dealer and murderer are pure bullshit dreamed up by right wing whack jobs.




How about Ronald Reagan's secret deal with Iran to keep the hostages until after the election?  Got some basis in fact there, or was it just "pure bullshit dreamed up by left wing whack jobs?"

There is absolutely nothing unique in a crazy minority with a crazy claim about a President they didn't vote for.  What is interesting here is the attempt to smear the entire opposition with it, and of course, the fucking racist assertion that we are supposed to treat President Obama differently because of his race.

both houses of the US Congress held separate inquiries and concluded that the allegations lacked supporting documentation.
 
That would be the "basis in fact" you seem to be claiming exists.
