Status: offline 		I was reading stories and reports from this week’s past UN and G20 and came across this. I didn't see any thread on the subject so here is some fat ass Chavez to chew on.

While it's easy enough to write off this joker as eccentric and a blowhard, I am not amused or fond of his rhetoric. While Cuba with their lack of financial reserve has never been a threat, Venezuela has deep pockets due to their oil reserves. Time to nip this in the bud, butt or whatever I'd say. I'd also say that while there is no obvious links, Putin isn't far away from the strings of these pesky "evil" puppets.

Do a search of Venezuala and Russia alliance, and then add China into the search. Russia and China both have been doing some heavy investing into Venezuala, and arms deals from Russia.

Status: offline 		Venezuela a threat to the US ? Russia may play politics, they may even try and fill the gap left when the US stopped supplying Venezuela with arms. That said, Russia and China both have more to lose by upsetting America, than they have to gain by siding with Chavez. I wouldnt lose much sleep over his empty rhetoric.

Status: offline 		My question as per the norm was more cryptic than one would at first perceive (curiousity as to who I might side with if the need should arise), beyond that everything is my business... At least to the point I make it my business... In fact it has even been stated that being my business is either really good or really bad.. And the question of "good or bad" is the real concern.

But to help you along a bit; I don't apply the old "maintain your political correctness" adage. As I see it, I have a back yard and there appears to be a chance Chavez might be intending on pissing in it. That in turn makes him my business and while the following might be common knowledge I'll repeat it for the benefit of you and those like you; I'm really not a very nice fellow and the people I associate with are even less "nice".

So, my question, though rhetorical at this point, was quite rellevant to the moment; at least considering the little fellow in S. America having nuclear ambitions. You see I kinda like Obama's idea of a Nuke Free Planet, and having one more little asshole answerable to no one with nukes doesn't impress or relax me.

Now if you don't like my particular brand of query you are welcome to get your entertainment elsewhere...
