Ok, so many don't like this joke or atleast decided not to admit it. Before getting all pissed off at me, have you ever wondered the truthfullness of the joke and why the government hasn't decided to try and change things. It's just recently that Uncle Sam and the miliatary are putting major reorganization to have most military operations done in small groups less than ten. But what about better armor, weapons, and technology? It still all goes to the lowest bidder who makes the shit.

It's humor people plain and simple. Humor is not making fun of people at there expense as much as it's providing a point in society that we should continue to change and make things better. If you got the joke, then is clear that something needs to be changed so that no one will understand it in the future. Humor is a great way to complain that changes still need to be made.

Army got first choice

There was a base where they had members form every branch of the services stationed, as well as civilian wokers, so when they made an announcement that included a time, they had to make is in such a manner that everyone understood what time was meant. A typical announcement would sound something like this:

Tonight's movie will be Mary Poppins. The movie will start at the following time - for you Army personnel 1900, for the Air Force and civilans thats 7pm, for you Navy swabs thats 6 bells, and for the Marines that is when the big hand is on the 7 and the little hand is on the 12 and the sun is going down.
