I'd be inclined to say, if you insist on us having a purpose, that our purpose was to give dominants a reason for getting out of bed. The whole ying/yang thing. If we weren't there then what would they do with their dominant traits, apart from pissing off people who would think they were too bossy.

If you had asked me this question when i was 9, i would have said that our purpose is to love and adore God - straight from the catecism - so maybe our purpose is to love and adore our doms.

For me....I'd think the purpose of a sub is to learn enough about themselves....daily...to always be in a position to be of the best possible service to their Master or Domme.

What's the main purpose of a dom?

My answer to either is: It depends. In a casual scene, their purpose is to do their half get us where we want to go. In a relationship, to be the other half of a fulfilling dynamic.

That question is probably going to have as many answers as there are people answering the question.
