Hmmmm...Mistress and I have talked about the Sun Dance before, and we both enjoy and are intrigued the shamanic masochism (well...she likes to watch it [;)]). I think this is something we should look into.

Over all, life is good in my little slice of the universe. Last week I had lunch with a delightful young lady that emailed me on the other side, doing so again tomorrow.

Regardless of outcome, it is lovely to spend time with someone that shares similar interests that such a small percentage of the human population can even fathom, let alone share an interest. She is a very interesting person and fantastic company, so if it ends up being "just friends" that would still be great.

I've been enjoying the cooler weather, still riding my green horse as often as time and weather allows, though I did slack off yesterday and cleaned out flower beds instead. I hit a rough spot with him a few weeks ago and had to back track a little, to work that kink out (and not a fun sort of kink either![:D]), before he dumped me. He is a high strung sensitive fellow. Moreso than I have worked with in a long time. Doing well, just requiring a change in my mindset between riding my older horse and then getting on him.

Getting frustrated with one of my adult children.......it was soooooooooo much easier when he was little to adjust his attitude. Now, not so much so.

The other adult child informed me I am going to be a grandmother AGAIN! This will be #4 and I feel the girl vibe again. My vibe hasn't been wrong yet so I am expecting a little Penelope Rose near my birthday next year. Would that be an awesome birthday present or what?!?!

YAY October here too! It's taken a year all but 26 days, but the sale of Mum's house has finally gone through, the money is here and debts are paid, massive relief all round. Now we can actually be mobile in our mobile home! Australia here we come! I don't think Mum would have dreamed it would have taken this long, I know when she passed she was keen for the house to be sold asap as she knew the funds would be a tremendous help to all 3 of us kids for different reasons. So I hope, if there is an afterlife, she knows it's finally worked out! I can't really mourn her passing as she absolutely made up her mind to go when she did, it was what she wanted.

Also My PhD is going well, proposal accepted first try, ethics clearance obtained quickly so I am starting My first data collection right now. All very exciting! Ask Me in a couple of months when I am buried under mountains of data how I feel then though LOL!

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to DV and fox on their wedding this month, may everything go brilliantly and the joy of the day be just the taster for many joys to come. Also happy birthday to all the birthday folks (obviously their parents enjoyed their January holidays all those years ago [;)]). Panic not LP, 40's a breeze ... the wheels didn't start falling off for Me till I hit 45 so You've a few years to go yet! Hope MP's shoulder surgery goes well too. I'm presuming that keeps Him home for a bit?

Always love reading this thread each month, it's so refreshing to realise we all have regular lives!

This month is all about me. My birthday was Oct. 1st, and I've joined an outdoors group to get out of the house more, I'm getting more involved with the local dog circuit, and my roommates are moving out this month (throws a party). Now if only I could find a workout buddy so I have more motivation to hit the gym.

Goals for this month? Lose some weight, make a friend, and don't strange annoying people.

Happy B-Day and Congrats to those weddings taking place. In Atlanta (here's a heads up..) the DomCon of Atlanta is going on this weekend which I'll be attending then club 1763. Followed by lil bro's bday. He's turning 21 so I gotta get him drunk. And of course netherworld in Atlanta. So this month is full of events and funness.

October...October...October...the older I get the fast the years fly by!  

This month sees me finally moving my things into Milady's home...our home.  I have more or less lived with her for seven months and with the decision to end my marriage, this is one of those inevitable steps that is at once, painful and yet so amazingly happy.  My life is normally one of extreme dualities anyway and this event did not disappoint.  My business continues in the amazingly poor economy to struggle, but I cling to hope as we are heading into the holiday season.

My deep bruises have finally faded from our biting play nearly a month ago now and I am again a (mostly) blank canvas ready for my Lady's touch...hint...hint...[;)]

Hopefully going to a "Women and Trans" party this Friday in Denver, and already planning my 'Bondage Fairy' outfit for Halloween <insert girly squeal here> !!!  [:D]

We're down to only 4 puppies to sell finally. Getting and extra bit of $ to house one of them until the couple buying him has moved into their new house. Now if we could get rid of the rest of the teething machines, I'd be happy (don't get me wrong, I love them ... but they are eating my drying rack, dangit).

Just a little update - from a few different posts that I've made. Christmas presents for the replicants are going fairly well now that I have all the pieces cut out. Now I just have to get some bias tape (which I somehow missed that I needed) and I can finish them up. We're down to only 3 puppies to sell. And the roofers finally started on our new roof this morning ... while I was trying to sleep because I have to work tonight LOL

AT least it's getting done, right?

Bull-Boxers this time - look like Boxers with slightly longer noses so they don't have the breathing problems or the over-heating issues that there mama does.
