Well, Ive been gone for awhile, and have decided to come back. Im now clean and sober, and in therapy. There is still anger and resentment, but Im not going to publicize it. Its a long road ahead.

not much of a chance of less anger. Im still in northeast ohio, and the old hell hole seems to have gotten worse in my absence. However, the anger is much more focused.

Glad to hear you're clean & sober Geoff. One can always find a reason to be angry. Having grown up in Ohio, after moving to TX from MI with my ex for her job, I'd be very happy to be living up north again where there are 4 distinct seasons. However, my kids are here and I very much want to continue to be involved in their lives as much as I can. So, I choose to stay here where I can be close to them and do that. I even moved last month to a community that's adjacent to where their mom moved them to earlier this year. Was I annoyed and angry when she moved? Yes, I was. As it turns out, I'm now in a better living situation than I was before I moved to follow them! Call it serendipity if you will. [:)] Its all a matter of perspective and how one chooses to look at things. Do you want to be a victim or look at your blessings? For me, I know my situation in life could be far worse than it is (BTW, it's actually very good). I'm afraid to ask which catagory I fall into, Peregrinus [;)] The date for the girls being moved at work has been pushed back again - I'm starting to feel really depressed and down despite my meds. I'm just praying that it's situational and that once things are done I'll be fine again. I don't want to up my meds again.

Congratulations, Diane!! The flesh hook pull at KK was a very intense and cathartic experience... I am absolutely doing it again. It was great getting pierced by Fakir, and getting to speak to Guy Baldwin about community issues, and just listening to him talk about whipmakers... two scene "idols", both wonderful men! The sadism talk by Cleo DuBois was highlighted by an astounding short scene that pretty much raised the temperature of the room! And before lunch, no less!
