oh man.

sorry, I'd rather have Nixon back than a Kennedy "at their worst".

and I FUCKING REVERE JFK.

I mean, in different times?  Maybe not,but politics are "as needs must".  Bay of Pigs, man.  Cuban Crisis.  We can't afford to get that close ever again.

I'm not sure where DomKen figures he is qualified to announce "the best of the bunch" for Republican contenders anyway.

Ok then. Who is really electable and someone you honestly think would be even an adequate POTUS?

Who would have called a junior Senator from Illinios, with zero executive experience, qualified or electable three years ago, Ken?  I pay attention to this stuff, and was thinking maybe he could be veep.  If nothing else, President Obama has significantly lowered the bar for who can be considered a legitimate contender.

The potential candidates I like weren't even on your list.  Not the ones you have heard of but dismissed or didn't consider including, and how would you list the ones you might never have heard of at all?  The right individual will fit the circumstances, and those have not emerged yet, either.

And even if I knew exactly who it was going to be, or could dish the full list of the contenders for the primary, why would I put them in your crosshairs?

I heard people hailing Obama as the potential "first black president" ever since his speech at the 2004 DNC. Granted, most people thought it would come much later than it did... but apparently many people did.

NeedToUseYou -> RE: Is is ABO? (10/1/2009 10:41:20 PM)

I'll probably vote for an independent or libertarian. I didn't vote for McCain or Obama last time, and it'd take a miracle for Obama to turn into a fiscal conservative, thus no vote from me. Romney, I will not vote for him either, he's to terrorist crazy for my tastes, most of his commercials I remember were him fanning the fear of terrorists.

Anyway, the next presidential election if it goes par for the course, as in stereotypical Dem versus NeoCon (Most Repubs), won't hold much interest.

Absolutely, but I'm saying the people I've dealt with were further on the Narcissistic end of the spectrum, and thus that's what it pings off as to me.

HatesParisHilton -> RE: Is is ABO? (10/1/2009 10:50:59 PM)

Palin is FAR more "I will fucking kill you if you cross me even with an exhaled breath sideways" than  a Narcissist.

Paris Hilton would forget any miscreance she perceived the moment you made her feel good about her self on a rating of 4 on a 1-10 for even 5 minutes.  That's the GOOD side of a narc.  they are MANEAGEABLE and can provide more benefit than loss to the world.

Palin?

you think she EVER forgives, forgets or fails to plan how your death csan be twice as long and three times as painful if you made people laugh on radio at her expense?

Paris was shredded by Letterman for over a year, look at them now.

and look at Palin/Lettermen.

I listed the ones that have either expressed an intention to run or have done things pretty clearly meant to set up a primary run. I'm assuming that potential GOP candidates learned the lesson of Fred Thompson's campaign and won't try waiting till the last minute again. In particular the major GOP fund raisers are picking candidates from the field I listed right now. If someone waits 6 months to start getting a campaign together he will be hopelessly behind in the money game.

I honestly wish there was a more electable candidate from the GOP but even the guys who might see a draft campaign get started for are pretty weak or have terrible baggage. Consider Jeb Bush, appeals to the fiscal conservatives based on his record in florida, the hispanic connection would serve to broaden the party, could energize both the evangelicals and the business conservatives based on his family ties but his connection to GWB would be like an anchor around his neck in a general election campaign. He might be able to make a run in 2016 but 2012 seems impossible and by all accounts he has read the tea leaves the same way I do.

If Jindal and Pawlenty both run I strongly doubt any other GOP governors will run. None of them have even as much name recognition as Romney, Huckabee, Jindal or Pawlenty and 4 current and former governors is a lot.

GOP senators? Orrin Hatch has the national prominence and likely would be a good POTUS but he has shown no signs of ambitions of that sort and has the mormon problem. There's 3 or 4 senators from the right fringe that I expected to make a run but with Santorum making a run I doubt any of them will be able to get much traction. But who knows? Inhofe or one of those guys might make a run but I couldn't imagine them doing anything in a national campaign.

GOP Congressmen? Boehner and Wilson are the most well known of the lot and I can't see either one running or getting the nomination if they run.

Having once embraced a philosophy that psycho bitches are a lot more fun in bed, I can honestly say "no."  I don't see that in her.  She has the fundamentalist mean-streak, but she's one who just needs to feel she's earned her slaps on the ass when taken from behind.  Just because her self-righteous anger doesn't come from a paradigm the "hip" embrace, doesn't make it a psychosis, just different.  She probably has as much contempt for your values as you have for hers.

Are you sure you've been woken up in the middle of the night to wrestle over a knife?  Not many guys I know who have been there for real would make that sort of error.

"but she's one who just needs to feel she's earned her slaps on the ass when taken from behind."

with a hockey stick?

"She probably has as much contempt for your values as you have for hers."

Yes, as did the guy who called me "n----r-lover" who tried to defenestrate me for kissing a gorgeous London African girl in "his" parking lot (it was a parking lot for an apartment block, not "his").  he was a SOCIOPATH.

"Are you sure you've been woken up in the middle of the night to wrestle over a knife?"

No, I didn't have to wake up and it was a broken bottle neck at my fucking KIDNEY from behind so there was no goddamn wrestling AVAILABLE to me.  Only whatever APOLOGIES for something I DID NOT DO that would allow me to live another day to extricate myself the hell OUT of that relationship.

but ya gotta laugh, as Fey as Palin taught us.

The bottleneck with the razorsharp teeth?

\Bitch broke MY GODDAMN RASPBERRY HARD CIDER BOTTLE (that I'd walked 2 kms to buy) to GET IT.

as many Psych PhD's will tell you, "Fatal Attraction was not a movie, it was a Documentary">

ahhhh DAMMMMMIT!

THAT'S THE FUCKING HORROR OF IT ALL!

Actually, most men are ass men -- or rather, to be precise, waist/ass-ratio men. It's a genetic fitness thing. The boobie boys are just lookin for momma.

But hey, yanno, when a guy starts talking about all the psycho women he's known, you gotta start to wonder a little about him too. You got an excuse?

Actually, most men are both, to some degree. The breast/waist/ass ratios together connote genetic fitness and a 'plumage display' all in one.

Yes, and it's more than an excuse, it's a fucking resume over 3 pages long.

see, there's a part of the DSM 4 that states VERY CLEARLY what manner of careers and professions Bords are drawn to like moths to a bugzapper.  Borderlines don't go into PALEONTOLOGY/digging up archeopteryx bones, man (but Butches do.  LOTS OF BUTCHES).

Arts and performance and film-based work?  AND the cities thaT CATER to such fields? CONSERVATIVE estimates are 1 in 10 women in such areas will be Bords, and in tose cities in Arts and Performance based fields, hey, throw a rock, hit a nutbag.  sorry.

Stage is the classic magnet for these Nords. Ever see All About Eve?  Eve is a Bord Bitch from HELL.  PhD Psychs have cocktail parties with that film playing in the background.

and politics ?

didn't one of the smartest folks ever born liken it to a stage?

c'mon.

check the DSM on addictive personality structure.

That's it. The debate is over. We can never talk about Palin again because you've called everyone who doesn't support her a sexist! We on the left can now spend the new two decades wailing and whining about the incredible unfairness of it, bring up this foul charge at every opportunity and generally feel picked on and marginalized for the rest of our lives because we've been called sexists!

Things will be so much simpler now.
