Be honest call a spade a spade. I know many spiritual nations; usually they are rather pragmatic regarding their global outlook and protecting their sense of spiritual identity: by realising spirituality is not restricted to any single nation state and defiantly can't be advanced/consolidated by warfare.

Religious leaders make me nervous I wonder perhaps if rather than talking to god and asking for advice on what to do they are actually mad and only asking the voices in their head what to do. I think someone detached from messages from god is better able to see the world as it is and make decisions based on that and nothing else. When two nations ask god for help or to bless them who does that god favour? It is ludicrous.

I am talking reality...not what should or could.

But I must speak to one of your points...Just because someone believes in God does not mean they hear the voice of God in their heads. I am Christian and I follow, within reason, the teachings I learned in my youth. I've never heard the voice of God. But have found I could apply my tenets of life and never cross any other religion or atheist for that matter. Otherwise I could be a good fair unbiased President...or KING!!!!!
