Hello everybody,

On another website the question came up :

Are women obligated to shave their legs?

Now the idiocy of the word "obligated" notwithstanding, what do you think about shaving?

Seriously....

I love smoothly shaved skin.

A woman I fell in love with hates shaving, so she goes a few days without.

Did I stop caring for her when I found that out? No. If things had worked out with her, would I have made do with her habit? Yes.

However... if I don't love you, really love you, you WILL shave those legs, if you're with me!

i prefer waxing(sugaring?).  My next choice is Veet or Nair.  Actual shaving is my least favorite.

If i'm not living with someone i tend to let it go in the winter and just wear slacks or long skirts.

After all, i don't have to shave my legs to give a blow job.

Probably TMI, but you asked.

fluffy, I always say  "Men don't care if your legs are shaven, they care if your legs are open!"

Level, darling, I'm taking notes here, man.  *Knows level really loves you when he doesn't require the shaviage...*

*and I'm with fluffy ... I love wax.  It hurts so good.  I have this fantasy....

I have long freaking legs, hate shaving, but love having them smooth, so I do it.  I had them waxed once.  Meh... too expensive for me.

I shave my legs every day. It's the only thing my mom told me about sex, that men don't like hairy legs wrapped around their backs.

I shave every other day. I've waxed but like red said it gets expensive after awhile. I have really sensitive skin so veet and nair really irritate the hell out of my skin.

If I'm going to be doing something with someone, yeah, I'll shave........sometimes it's worth it, sometimes, it ain't.......but for the most part, I won't shave every day...I do the pants thing instead.

I am. In summer it's too hot not to. And in winter if they get a little long, then they get static electricity from my socks and that's a horrible feeling. Take off your socks and the hair is standing straight out. So when I wash my hair, every other day, I shave my legs.

Nope not me, if I want to shave them then I do, if not then no it does not happen. I do not particularly care what anyone else thinks about it either. My body is my own, I do with it what I will.

I'm with Lashra on this one - if no one is going to see my legs but me - who cares.  I have never waxed - not into pain.  But I do use the Nair/Veet products.  WARNING:  The super fast shower Veet ..... I used this product back in June - I have a scratch on my leg - the product gave me a 1st degree burn - I still have very visible scarring.

Living alone, I let it go mostly, unless I'm going out with friends and likely to be wearing shorts or a skirt.  Otherwise, I cant be bothered (hey, that 10 minutes or so extra in the shower is time better spent sleeping!)

FR, after read thru

Annually. All other things considered, I generally get the urge to shave my legs about once a year.

It's a lot of work, it irritates my skin more than the little hairs getting caught in my tights bugs me in winter, & I have always preferred to allocate every bit of extra time to reading, above everything else. Shaving takes a chunk o' time, really adds up . . . . . Agreed with Greedy that sleeping has also prioritized over shaving, as well as simply staring into space . .. . . Oh, & I hate spending money on 'lady stuff' unless I absolutely have to, so waxing & depilatory goos & such have never appealed. & given that shaving irritates my skin I've had my doubts about how I'd tolerate the Nairs & such . . . . .

It's never been an issue with guys . . . . . *shrugs*

ETA: The hairs in question are fairly sparse & fine, so . . . . .

oh fuck no.

Ionce met the TASTIEST little bubble-booty, a neo-hippy from Belgium, she had leg hairs 2 INCHES LONG at the lover shins, (armpit hair longer), this was part of her "style" and charm, she'd be "less" without this hair, so NO.

I mean if the hair is UGLY with bad texture that's another thing...

god I am feeling queeny today.
