I didn't ask for bible passages, I asked what church you went to where they taught you that in sunday school? I still remember most of the stories they taught us, but nothing like what you are talking about.

Well that doesn't fit any of the conservatives I know. A couple things fit a couple people, but not all of them. Seems like a pretty broad paint brush there, covering a lot of people.

Are you arguing that Bible as collection of stories doesnt have very graphic sexual acts? Very brutal violence? I am not talking about that it teaches, but what it is written there? Bible teachings for last 2000 years are very subjective, everyone pulled and used bits and pieces they wanted to like.
Nope, just curious as to where you got your views on it. I should have know there was a catholic in the background somewhere though. I am glad our church focused on the love angle.
