Back in the "good old days" of the internet (which is where i first discovered this whole wonderful, confusing, topsy tervy world) i was "taught" that as a sub my nick should be lower case, *i* should be lower cased and You/Your, etc., should be capped along with the Dom's name. A good deal of that was so that people in a chatroom could immediately tell is someone was a Dom/sub, and switches were expected to cap or not, depending on which way they were feeling at that point. i remember getting yelled out for not capping the word "Sir", when it was cuz i had a old keyboard and half my keys didn't work..lol. In the Gor rooms all the men were addressed as "Master", the freewomen as "M'am", and slaves are sister, and the very few slave men allowed as brother. i tended to use some of the "new" ways of typing and titles, and some not. Now a days i do it out of habit. The funny thing is at work i naturally type I, but at home it's "i", etc. Some folks have very firm opinions on this, but i think most of us now just do what ever feels "natural" to us. Welcome to the forums.. cheers jimini :)
