Top 10 Things I find Attracting in a Domina.

1. Honest w/ good communication skills.
2. Trustworthy and means what She says.
3. Very healthy Self-Esteem and Naturally Dominant.
4. Exudes sexuality from the inside out.
5. Excellent problem solving skills.
6. Is loving and affectionate.
7. Really funny sharp wit.
8. Stable and Secure, emotionally, financially all the way around.
9. Has a Love for nature and animals.
10. Is Passionately and Compassionately centered.

1. Masculine- the kind of masculinity that allowed this one to truly embrace her femininity.
2.Protective- the only walls I have are the walls of His Kingdom
3. Artistic- Everything he builds or creates, from his music to his building, expresses parts of his spirit.
4. Intelligent- I love his thought processes and his eagerness to continue to feed his brain
5. Spiritual- His life path is and was always with spiritual purpose
6. Strong- Not only physically, but internally he's shown great amounts of strength while enduring many hardships throughout life.
7. Determined- I believe he could move mountains
8. Sexy and alluring
9. Nurturing- giving lots of affection, attention and guidance when ever he knows I need it and because he likes the way it feels to him

In a submissive I seek;
1. Honesty, we are not going to always agree but I do want to know how YOU are feeling so I learn about you.
2Intelligence...especially important being smart enough to make me Believe i am smarter than she .
3. Sense of humor...If we can laugh together that makes up for a lot. true there is pain and hurt in the world but can we shut it out when appropriate and LAUGH at ourselves and this big fun filled world we share.
4. true desire to serve and isn't a "Do me" sub.
5. Wishes to grow in the relationship slowly and doesn't insist on being collared immediately. I respect a collar and am NOT passing them out like lifesavers.
6. Knows what she wants yet is not whiny about it..."Oh that's too hard" , i make certain she has a code word and with anyone new i use a number code to find their pain comfort level..I am NOT going to far exceed their level of comfort but i am going to go to a 7 or 8 at times but not often.
7. Learns to trust ME..this takes time but I am NOT ever going to do anything to injure her. she is precious to me and I cherish her and her submission.
8. Does NOT force me to punish her...I am so sick of this...instead of honestly discussing her needs she pushes limits which I feel is just wrong.
9. Obedience...I assign all new submissives the task of keeping a journal on line that ONLY she and I can access...ALL I ask is for her to post ONE time a day and it is amazing how few can actually do this.
10. Care and concern for ME...Hey i am a Guy, I like for her to ask Me how my day was, be supportive...NOT jabber on indefinitely about something that neither of us have any control over until i am ready to scream. Newbies do this to me so often and I try hard to remind them to Relax and enjoy OUR time together.

LOVE is something that WILL grow in time if carefully nurtured and for Me to expect a submissive to fall madly in Love with me or anyone else immediately is not something I comsider realistic.

I have actually seen love kill a d/s relationship....and in doing so kill the love. sad, but just means it wasn't really meant to be imo. I don't think either of the people I am thinking about regret the love or the d/s moments they had.

1. Reliable and follows through!! You wouldn't think it, but this has been my biggest frustration. Obviously I'm only referring to clearly communicated and agreed upon activities/actions

2. Experienced. I know everyone has to start somewhere, but I'd rather "play" with someone new versus consider them for a relationship.

3. Active in or at least confortable attending bdsm groups/events

4. Intelligent and preferably educated beyond H.S.

5. Single

6. kind to others, even those they don't agree with

7. self aware - he or she needs to understand and have good control over themself before trying to control me.

8. location, location, location (want to actually be able to see this person frequently)

9. sadistic. Not all tops are sadists, really

10. Controlling. Not all tops are actually intersted in the control aspects outside of an actual scene.

Excellent point, MrDiscipline. i would not and could not ever ask him for his love. When he expressed love to me, i received it as a gift.

If we were really just cattle waiting to be picked out by any random dom who came along and bought/stole/took us, then you're right, any list we would make would be pointless.

But we aren't.  We get to choose what relationship we enter into- even if upon entering that relationship, we agree to the possibility of being sold/given away.

lol, I agree completely.  I submit to a PERSON, not the COMMUNITY.  I'm not up for grabs to whoever walks by.  Furthermore, every sub or slave is a unique individual with different needs/wants. Some simply don't know themselves well enough to understand this.

well, it seems to me to be truly submissive, totally, we  have to leave our "wants" and "needs"  and "wishes" up to our Owners to provide or not as They choose.

i have in my time been Owned by Owners i would have chosen, had i the option, and by some i would never thought to have chosen.

guess what?  i learned the most from the Ones i would not have necessarily picked, given the choice.

just something to think about.

I think most of us have experienced that- that doesn't mean having standards is bad or misguiding however. 

It IS good to be open to challenges, to be open to more than just a list of ideas and traits. 

It's also good to understand priorities. 

Would you be owned by any random person who came up to you and said "I'm an owner, now you're my slave"?
