If they would be drafted by the Rams and refuse to play they would sit out for 1 year and get paid nothing. It is a little more complicated for others depending on how much time they have in the NFL. Lets see. Lose a 3 million dollar signing bonus, or play for an owner you will probably never see anyway. I'm suiting up.

Thats easy for you to say. Ask a black NFL player how quickly he would play for someone who was obviously racist. I have a feeling some contracts will be changing soon.

Yeah servant ...principles be dammed.
Though you do have a point as far as the draft is concerned....those kids really have no choice, free agents on the other hand do have a choice.
Not to mention the possibility of some bright kid challenging the draft based on his not wanting to play for a racist.Again why would the NFL allow any of this to happen....when simply by denying this one group of potential buyers(there are other groups trying to purchase the team) they avoid this negative discussion?

Tazzy, it wouldn't matter to me if I was making $3m per year for playing football and the owner/s didn't like me because I was "white."
I'd be suiting up and singing "camptown races" all the way to the bank! "Doo-dah! Doo-dah!"
In my BRANDNEW Mercedes!
With a coupla "HO's" in the backseat!
"THREE $MILLION a year? I'M PLAYIN"!!!"

This is just too funny.  You guys think players would refuse to play for Rush?  He spends his airtime singing the praises of hard work and individual excellence - exactly the virtues that have brought these individuals to a position of being able to play in the NFL.

Now if NFL contracts got handed out based on racial preferences and set-asides, or leveling the playing field, then there might be a case to be made.

LOL

well popeye you know the old joke, if you acquiesce to blow me for one million dollars, you can give me a nickles worth right now. Where was your righteous indignation when they were saying that Kennedy drank that toilet swill of a Cutty Sark, when everyone knows he woulda been a Bushmills or Jameson man?

Tazzy, who gives a shit! I'd get me one of those big fur coats like all the players wear too!
They could be as racist to me as they want, just keep the monthly checks comming in.

That's a pity, such rhetoric would be wasted on the bulk of them that would not and never have listened to his indolent fucktarding. You think its a good deal for everyone, hah?

Gawd Heretic, if liberals ran the NFL Erkel would be a defensive tackle!

Ron, Kennedy was a Chivas Regal and rum and coke man.

That 3 mil might be just the signing bonus. That doesn't include his salary. Some of these guys probably never heard of Rush Limbaugh. Why wouldn't they play. I had a few black managers at AT&T that I worked for that didn't like white guys on their crew. Guess what. I didn't start crying and refuse to go to work. Grow up and get with the real world.

Uh,Rich you might want to research that just a bit...the list of current NFL players who have vowed they would never play for any team Rush has a stake in is rather exstensive......not to mention the NFLPA has allready issued a statement questioning the wisdom of having someone who has made the statements Rush has(see previous posts)as an owner.
Hell the NFL's contract with the NFLPA is up next year......just another reason the owners would shy away from Rush at this point.

Thats not going to fly servant....too many of those guys are allready on record where Rush is concerned.
Perhaps it is you who should "grow up and get with the real world".....this is a real world decision, and as I said earlier the NFL will make it based on real world criteria......Rush offends a large segment of their fan base....Rush offends a large segment of their talent.....Rush ain't getting in without a ticket.

Mike, "scruples" don't make the monthly payments on a BRANDNEW "S-Class" Mercedes Benz with a 382 h.p. V-8 that gets 12 mpg around town.
When's the last time you saw a Football Player driving around in a "girly car" like a Honda, Subaru or VW?
They probably couldn't even fit inside them! You'd see the springs break.
If I were going to be a Football Player there's a certain cachet I'd have to project and those cars say "Pussy" not "Professional Athlete."
