Duchess Scarlett. Your question is valid.

It is the responses that have me keeping my distance. As a being of Your stature YOU are aware to NEVER change YOURself your ideals your essence for someone else. These responses stem from spirits that have given up and now feel they are owed something, a reward for taking up space is not an asset by any means.

when one of weak mind body and spirit feel trapped or put to a test they fall back onto primal skills of that of a wounded animal that is basically confused, what does a wounded confused animal do? it makes noise, it lashes out,it breathes negative unhealthy emotions that have it thinking it is being strong but in fact it is their highest level of weakness that shines through. so these clients become confused, they are set in a mindless routine and just want to take up space never expanding or progressing and what do they do? they lash out at YOU of all people, become rude, make a lot of noise which in their empty minds feels like power but in fact it is their weakness shinning through. You dont have a grain of salt worth of time to be taken up by worms, let them burry their heads into a routine reality that keeps them stuck as prehistoric subs. These reactions played out for one reason only, to heighten your awareness of whom You really are. and to whom is worthy of YOUr time and energy. by being true to ones self youll send vibrations out clearly of your desires which will manifest into reality before you thus bringing forth new desires which manifest and so on expanding your consciousness and that of the universe as well. so you seperate yourself from negative aspects. which is most of this site unfortuanatley. eyes wide you be YOU and dont ever change the essence of your true nature.

So, I went and took a look at your profile. The big thing that stands out to me is that you do not clearly state what types of things you might be interested in doing. Negative ads don't work nearly as well as positive ones. As a writer, I'd recommend that you consider your audience first and foremost - who do you want to read your profile and respond to you? Then write the profile to attract that audience.

Perhaps if you listed the sorts of activities you enjoy, and do less of the "you crawling pathetic worms" type language, you'd attract the sorts of clients you prefer?

I am not a man, not looking, and not in a demographic likely to seek out for-pay services, but wow, 19 seems very young to me. I'm not sure how much experience and authority I would believe is going to originate from a 19-year-old ballet dancer. While intellectually I know that dance is very demanding and requires self-discipline, the picture in my head is a frilly "girly" girl in a pink tutu.

try taking the time out to give what you would expect to receive; if you come off as an asshole, you attract assholes, nuff said.

i know that i'm late to this party, but i'm going to offer a thought or two anyway.

Firstly, i'm not sure that it's possible to weed out time wasters in the on-line environment.  They just seem to come with the territory.  You may want to accept that fact, otherwise you are in for quite a bit of frustration.

If you go back and look at your profile, you will see that it is not written in a way that is likely to attract what you seek.  It is full of typos and bad grammar.  That doesn't reflect well on you.

Secondly, pretend like you are a total stranger who knows nothing about your product or service.  Now, go back and read your profile.  Once you've done so, tell me what your product or service is.  i think you will quickly find that your profile does a terrible job of describing what you offer.  In fact, it doesn't describe your service at all.  You know what you are offering, but we don't.  The onus is on you to tell us.

Lastly, who is your target consumer?  Write in a way that would attract the customer that you seek. Based on your profile, i would assume that your target audience is semi-illiterate adolescent males with low self-esteem.

Sorry if that sounds like a rude response.  But if you go back and read your profile, you will see that my assessment is accurate, and that my comments may actually prove to be helpful.

Good luck on your business venture.

The OP may not even still be reading this thread...but here goes.

All the responses here are full of great advice. I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said.

If you are operating a sales oriented business than you need to run it like a sales oriented business. The nature of the business is pretty insignificant...though if you are providing a service you have to also become service oriented.

Learn to qualify the buyer by asking them questions before you waste time that could be spent on a real buyer.

Who--are you?
What--are you looking for?
Why--did you choose to contact me?
Where--did you find out about me?
How--much are you willing to spend?

You may need to change your perspective a bit if your end goal is to attract and retain customers. Even though your clients may be coming to you for domination and even humiliation...to them they are simply getting a need satisfied for which they are willing to pay for. It is not that you are so wonderful that men line up to pay money to get these things from you. The customer has a need, you have a service that you are willing to provide in order to meet their need, that is worth a certain fee to you both. You can be dominating and respectful at the same time...that is how your business will succeed.

Remember, the customer comes first!

You are promoting a business. You have to make your business appealing to the customer base that you want. If it isn't appealing, you will not get the customers.

It's amazing the amount of people who choose certain modes of income without being able to grasp this.

Wait... you mean I can't just order people to pay me for no reason? I've been going about things all wrong in my job hunt.

Commitment is becoming a thing of the past. Not just in this lifestyle, but in all things. I think it's a struggle for all of use to find what we are looking for, what we need, but struggle is part of the journey.

LOL... or they see someone who is presenting as something they are not and are having some fun with them. While a lot of what you say has some truth to it... the answers here in this thread were mostly calling her on what she was presenting and how she was presenting it and calling her out on the problem area's in which most can readily see. If one speaks to people as if they are not worth much... it often speaks loudly of the person speaking and it also speaks loudly to those who like to be spoken to in such a way. Which is what DarkSteven pointed out, are the types she really wouldn't want to deal with.

Presenting as a provider of a service... you are someone who serves other people and if you take the humiliation route, you get people who wish to be humiliated. Personally I feel that carries with it some very primal elements of negelect, abuse, wounds in life and not really anything much higher on the scale of human higher power or standing. And not something I would wish to hold on to and enhance and continue if I had any self respect or respect for other human beings.

If one wishes to remain true to who they are and consider themselves above others and something of great worth... they really ought to have something worthwhile or you are encouraging them to stay stuck in a pattern of lacks... lacks in personal growth... lacks in accountablity... lacks in being a nice person... lacks.. in all sorts of things and I would never encouarage someone to stay stuck and true to a lesser self. I would encouage them to see the truth, whether it is administered in harshness or ridicule or pretty sweet, nurturing words.

Unless of course you think selfish and rudeness are things to attain and remain true to. While the original question does have worth and is valid... the whole picture presents as something I wouldn't think most would be proud of. Unless of course they wished to survive on the hard labor of others, don't know their trade very well and expect their clients to be of more worth than the servicer.

I agree that your standards are a tooo high, since you are running a business, where subs pay for your service. After all, they will be gone in an hour or so, and not Partnering with them, in a Ballet (Which I would love to do).

"I have no time for patehtic little worms who waste My time, if you feel that is something you would like to try you hand at, don't bother. The reaction you will recive will be less than desired if one is given at all."

This statement is completely Cliche' and screams more of fake, money domme than a real Dominatrix.  Most guys want to know there is a real person behind the scenes who they can connect with.  Granted, I like my Dommes to be a bitch sometimes in scene, however one that thinks her shit does not stink is just annoying.  I would give more credit to you if you said who you where, then what your play style is...

You may be able to control young single guys, or men who are old and live in their parents basement, but when it comes to guys who are in control of their lives and are actually paying for your services, they want to real deal.
