MarsBonfire -> RE: Senate committee approves health care plan (10/13/2009 8:22:27 PM)

Considering the majority of the American voting populace is behind this reform, I don't see any way the Dems can lose. Even if the GOP manages to stop any bill from getitng passed, then the Dems have a lever in the midterms: "we tried to get you health care reform, but the republicans pissed on the effort." If something does get passed, the Dems say they managed to get at least a step toward a public option made... again they win. Meanwhile, the GOP continues to purge the moderates in their ranks, and scream at the top of their lungs about "death panels" , birth certificates, Kenyan citizenship, Socialisim, etc., etc.. Until this point, were less than 20% of those polled would even ADMIT that they were members of the republican party, much less vote for the loons. Please, do keep raving to yourselves, Insanity and Rottertail... keep up with the snide, high school level, third rate "I know you are, but what am I" logic and BS statements... We all need the reinforcement... you guys are dinosaurs, trapped in the tar pit, and are slowly being sucked down. The bleating is perfectly natural for a political species that smells it's own extinction coming for it.
