Sports and Domination - 3/5/2006 12:37:20 PM

I've played actively in sports for the past twenty years and I think that is where my Domination began. Many years ago, as a little leaguer, I was taught to become Dominant on the pithcing mound and in the batter's box.
My competiveness drives me to win, to beat my opponent. To intimidate them and talk trash and let them know, "I AM THE MAN!"
So, now years later..it transpires into the bedroom and the D/s relationship.
I want to beat you, talk trash to you, humiliate you and say "I AM THE MAN!"
God, I love sports and I've come to this conclusion without paying one cent to my Psychiatrist.
Can anyone else relate? If not, hell, just tell me your favorite sport, kricket doesn't count my friend, RavenMuse.

Peace, Kevin

So since i never liked sports, was it inevitable that i would be submissive?

I really enjoy martial arts, funny you would think learning to kill someone would make me more dominant, but seeing Master is the Master, i get a lot of submissive feeling from submitting to his teaching *grin*

Why is it that you Mistresses go right for the nut sack? Every time I see references to that, I shudder and cross my legs.

I've also played competitive sports all my life including tennis at a national level, varsity basketball at a PAC 10 university, and had a national ranking in badminton as a junior player, and i have an MS in Physical Education, but i'm certainly not dominant in the "other" playing field.

Curling. You can't get much more dominant than hauling around a large rock, and you can beat people with the brooms later.

Proudsub, is a female stud...awesome...I'm very impressed.

windchymes...I can push a rock or a girl over the cliff...but rocks are more difficult, yes I too am impressed by the curling team....I'll take the broom and sweep the path clear

Angelic...trust me..it stinks at the bottom of that pile...but I'd love to pile on!

Of course it doesn't I'm scottish, not English

The sports I used to enjoy where a little more physical than either Cricket or your rounders.... I mean baseball!

Rugby, now thats a rough game. Two teams of burley men go onto the field and basicaly kick the crud out of each other whilst occassionaly getting the ball to the other end of the field.

I tried out for one of the American football teams we have over here but didn't like all the stupid padding they are supposed to wear! For playing I much preffer rugby, but I do enjoy watching your version more as a spectator.

Then there is Boxing of course. Always fancied heading east and learning enough to fight in a proper Mutai... but I guess the fates had other plans for me. But martial arts of any kind I love watching even if I can no longer participate.

And then there is the more gentlemanly side of sport. About the only sport left that had REAL gentlemen dispite the value the prizemoney has reached.... Snooker.

Freestyle climbing and long distance running are more 'events' than sport but I used to enjoy them too.

fastlane and Gauge, as any good Domme knows the only way to control a man and get his focus is to control and manage the nuts--the same holds true for horses, can't have My Magick humping the mares when I need him to "perform" for Me!

ROTFL--I do adore the fun here.

That would be covered by the Mutai That was one of the things that let me down in Boxing, crap footwork. Mutai training would have definatly helped there.

Think pool for grown-ups! Its an older and more refined gamem derived from billiards. Bigger table and a LOT more skill needed. I used to be GOOD at pool, but have only ever been OKish at snooker.

Not too bad but it'll be better hopefully in two weeks time when I've got the keys to my new flat..... oh yes!

I'm not dominant, but I don't find the stereotypical sports mentality (i.e "I AM THE MAN!") to be the least bit attractive in a Dominant. I just reminds me of jocks in high school who were arrogant and, mostly, insecure. Give me quiet confidence any day of the week.
