CNN says there doesn't appear to be any sign he was actually in the balloon. I'm wondering if he just let the balloon loose and then hid somewhere because he thought there'd be hell to pay for it?

His brother said he saw him get into the balloon... but they are saying the balloon shouldn't be able to lift off with his weight. So... he may have found a really good hiding spot somewhere because he was naughty playing with the balloon. I hope that is the case.

Now CNN has some sort of balloon scientist explaining that a balloon that size could never have had enough lift to carry off a small child to begin with. Makes sense to me.

They are saying on fox that witness' saw something fall out... but they don't know how credible some of the stories are... because this would have happened before they had helocopters up. CNN says the basket was never breached

Hopefully there is a very naughty little boy hiding somewhere and all his parents have to deal with are the bills from the state for the cost of the whole mess.

An officer from Larimer county which is where the balloon lifted off... says he has seen a picture taken by a witness of a dark object at the bottom of the balloon and it fell. That was near his house.

One officer is saying the boy climbed into a box attached to the balloon and the box was not found with the balloon and wasn't seen once they had a camera on it.

The box on the bottom was held by pegs... a light weight box for batteries and such to go into storms... they say the boy got into that box, it lifted off and the box is gone and so are the pegs.

We can only hope that he was low enough that he could survive the fall. But the picture wasn't clear or they couldn't tell what the dark spot was... so it had to be pretty high. Sky diver's have fallen from pretty high and survived... we can hope. Now another expert is saying that the balloon could have lifted with 100 pounds or a bit more and the box most likely would have fallen off early on, which goes along with what the witness' said and the picture.

They just showed a pic of the box falling it seems... it was about the right size and under the balloon. They are now trying to search east of Plattville. They may need help, they said something about it earlier, so anyone in the area... you might be able to help.

A sheriff saw it and a woman took a picture of it. They just showed it on the news.

This is beyond sad. I hope he has hidden himself someplace and just fallen asleep. My heart breaks for his parents.

They have been investigating the picture and all people's reports all along... it is just getting to the news people in peices.

The balloon was in the backyard, the family had been doing something with it a neighbor said. They think the parents went into the house and the boys were outside. The older one yelled that his brother was high in the sky and it went from there.
