Status: offline 		I have been in the lifestyle as a Master for over 35 years. Im 56. I have alot of experience and I have made all my stupid mistakes by now. Problem is, I cant get a slave. I have been told I should seek a younger female as the younger females are seeking older Doms and Masters. Is this true? I really miss having a slave to train or have sessions with.

I don't know what you are talking about.  Some people have age prejudices.  Some don't.  Some seek people older than they are.  Some people seek younger.  There isn't any general rule.

Reading between the lines I think the problem is you are "seeking a slave."  That sounds like you are looking for some kind of interchangeable commodity.  My approach is to put myself forward.  Post interesting messages on the Internet.  Have interesting profiles and an interesting website.  Attend munches and the occasional convention.  Offer assistance to people who need it.

This way people know who I am and what I like.  Those who are interested in those things contact me and we see how things go.  Age doesn't seem to be much of a factor.  My primary partner outside of my marriage is a lusty 65.  Other secondaries range from 19 to 70.  But all of them are interested in things I'm interested in and I'm interested in them.

I just looked at your profile.  Have you noticed that under "interests" there is not one scene oriented thing and there's nothing specific in the profile text about interests aside from things like you like to cuddle?  That's really not much to make a submissive's woman's heart go "pitter patter" and her nether parts to get all slippery.

Very well said. The profile is a great start. It should be encompassing and to the point. So many times I see these profiles which have nothing in them from both the male as well as female side. I often wonder what exactly are they looking for.

When I see an empty profile, or a profile that contains very little in it, I pass it by.

you've been a resident of this planet 56 years, with 35 of them in the lifestyle and you're posing a question anyone of your age with the credentials you state should know. how many vanilla men your age do you see with women significantly younger that doesn't have something that combats the gap? i'm not counting those with a sincere interest, but being realistic instead. he usually has coins.

the same truths that exist outside of this lifestyle often carry over. some women are attracted to the difference, others are seeking conveniences, some have emotional issues and want a father figure, others are sincere and connections simply happen spontaneously. you get a great big mix to choose from.

i would suggest that you treat each situation individually. highlight your experience and don't rely on virtual connections alone. if you have the background you profess, finding someone may not be as challenging as you might think. slaves comes in a variety of flavors. anything is possible.

For myself, it is the older Doms that appeal to me.  I'm no spring chicken myself.  But besides liking to cuddle and having been told You're intelligent, You really don't say much about Yourself.  I can't speak for all submissives, but I like to know something about the Man who wants my submission & also about what He wants out of the relationship if it happens.  Say more about Yourself, what You want and what You're looking for, and about that other woman the reader will expected to have sex with.  Prospective subs/slaves are going to want to know those things.  And think of the slave You're looking for as a person, not all slaves/subs are cookie-cutter identical.  What kind of woman are You looking to appeal to?  Good luck.

i used to feel the same but i couldn't care less what they write now. i've met intriguing people with two lines of text and others with far too much that didn't have the same grasp of the lifestyle. while i do consider the profile a snapshot, i also recognize the merits of dialogue and allowing these subjects to spring up naturally. i think this works well if the person is a great conversationalist and knows what he wants and can articulate that clearly.

at present i have a quote. i'm sure men look at my profile and think wow, she knows nothing. or believe me to be a newbie needing a helping hand. which only goes to show that they really aren't infallible.

You need to be able to mesh
If she is party girl and you are a stay at home guy, it will not work
If she wants to be your one and only and you want her to be one of many, it will not work
Your profile is light, woman want more than just to be wanted, they wish to feel special, your profile gives no such feeling.
I do not know how you appraoach. I underdstand being older you may be feeling a little concerned, but relationships do take time
You need to explore the person as a human being first, then as a woman and if you are still clicking then address the possibility of a lifestyle type relationship there is no point jumping to the lifestyle aspect if you don't click with the other aspects.
While poly may be all the rage, I still believe that most desire a a 1 to 1 and I think this may be where one of your main stumbling blocks is, that is just my guess

I agree with what the others have said, being a year away from 50, I have no problem meeting or serving people 20-30 years younger than me.  Then again, I'm also not one of those people (and we all know the type) who think simply because of their age they know everything and talk down to everyone younger and vice versa.
