I find it very interesting that Sarah Palin will be on Oprah's show, hawking her new book the night before it comes out. It seems that the left is appalled that Oprah would talk to Sarah. the right is appalled that Sarah is talking to Oprah. But it seems to again dictate that the liberal line and the conservative line are never as important as the bottom line.

Maybe even Oprah is a disappointed with Obama. Maybe she will support Sarah Palin in the 2012 election.

Maybe Sarah will react true to form and quit half way through the interview.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......... sure. Somehow I think Oprah is just a wee bit smarter than that.

I effing cannot STAND Palin but if I had a television talk show I would love to get her on it. The opportunity to make a fool of her AND make big ratings. Win win.

You can only hope. I don't see that happening this time around. Like her or hate her, she will be a force to be reckoned with in the next few years.

The fact that she quit her Governer's job to write her book suggests otherwise.

As we all should.

Who is better qualified than a former mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, and a former governor of that state who walked off the job in the middle of her term to write a book?

I am sure that everyone from the 'left' would be very happy to have Sarah Palin remain up in Alaska. She isn't the first person to leave an elected position before her term was up, and she certainly won't be the last. If I'm not mistaken Bill Clinton did the same thing.

I, for one, would just as soon she spent as much time as possible in the Lower 48. The traffic's heavier here, so there's a much better chance of her getting run over when she wanders out into it.

Nope.

She blew any chance she had when she quit.

Not that she had much chance to begin with after sinking McCain's candidacy.

And miss out on the entertainment that she provides? Are you kidding? Let her out of Alaska!

God knows, we need all the laugh that we can get right now  .

She will indeed boost ratings for Oprah Winfrey. That appearance will also boost her own ratings. She will be on that show for a reason, and it isn't to help Oprah.

What a bunch of BS.

Bill Clinton left for higher office, as did George Bush.

Sarah left because "gosh I really don't like how everyone is treating me and I really don't want to do this anymore".

She also left for a higher office. She just did it a little earlier. It will take a little more time to knock Obama out of office.

I personally hope for nothing more than Sarah Palin to run against Obama in '12. She more of a powerful force for the democrats than Oprah and Streisand put together.

I truly hope for the same thing, and I think it will happen. It will make for a very interesting presidential election in 2012. Obama will have his hands full in a debate with her.
