Maybe even Oprah is a disappointed with Obama. Maybe she will support Sarah Palin in the 2012 election.

As we all should.

Who is better qualified than a former mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, and a former governor of that state who walked off the job in the middle of her term to write a book?

Ever hear how she encountered corruption, and brought down a sitting governor, RML?  (Unlike President Obama who encountered corruption and got a bigger yard.)  She has one hell of a compelling story to tell.

Oh.  She's probably on Oprah because Oprah likes guests who have overcome victimhood, and Sarah was certainly victimized by the Democrat hate machine last fall.

I truly hope for the same thing, and I think it will happen. It will make for a very interesting presidential election in 2012. Obama will have his hands full in a debate with her.

Really Servant, you have to stop.

My sides are hurting from laughing so hard.

Umm, Serv?  She's done as a viable candidate.  She has some power with a segment of the base, she can be useful for fundraising, but if the country is so fucked up that she is the nominee, we are completely screwed one way or another.

Ever hear how she ran for Vice-President with absolutely no knowledge of foreign affairs, or for that matter, anything beyond Alaska?

Ever hear about how she stuttered and stammered her way through several interviews when it was obvious she was totally dumbfounded by the questions?

Obama also had no experience in foreign affairs. Neither did Bill Clinton or George Bush. As sad as it is, being elected president is a popularity contest. Clinton got the womens vote in both elections because they thought he was good looking. It's not right, but thats the way it is. Sarah Palin will not have to be an expert in foreign affairs to get elected.

Go for it. Palin/Quale in '12. Their campaign slogan can be "Government has been laughing at you for over 200 years. Now it's your turn."

I am sure that everyone from the 'left' would be very happy to have Sarah Palin remain up in Alaska. She isn't the first person to leave an elected position before her term was up, and she certainly won't be the last. If I'm not mistaken Bill Clinton did the same thing.

No... the left hopes that she wins the republican nomination for 2012 so Obama has a sure victory.

Yes, but the one major qualifier for a Presidential candidate is they have to be "not stupid".

Oh wait.

Nevermind.

I forgot about Dubya.

Servant Rule stated "she ran for Vice-President with no knowledge of foreign affairs".....now you have substituted the word experience. Two distinctly different qualities....one can gain experience on the job....knowledge is something you should be bringing to the table.....And she most certainly didn't!

She was victimized by her own mouth.....she was way too unprepared for running for National office.....if lack of preparation makes you a victim.....then sure....she was victimized....she did more damage to herself than the Democrats could have with all of the force of the campaign. Foot in mouth....shot in foot....all victimization....We should all feel bad for her....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....poor little Sarah!....

following that same track.....
Every male that votes for palin is doing it for their dicks not their country
Lets have some balance for ridiculous remarks, they are both dumb remarks and both untrue

I wont be watching the show, mostly cos I dont like talk shows, but the two of them on tv would be enough to turn me into a gibbering wreck in a corner.
Both are doing it for altruistic reasons Im sure

As I said, very altruistic....We REALLY need a "dripping with sarcasm" emoticon..
Bit like this one....

I wonder if that would count as flaming

I hate to insert a contrary thought into sfu's mind, if it's possible, but I, a woman, voted for Clinton because he was a Rhodes scholar who had married the smartest woman in his class as opposed to Gore who stated he married the prettiest.

Being a smart female who has known too many men who want me to play dumb in public, I absolutely adore a man who appreciates a smart woman.

Yes, and I think the status of Palin's brain, and the apparent brilliance (cough cough) of her chosen mate.........uhmmmmmmm, no thank you. But she is entertaining as hell. I adore watching anyone that clueless to their own cluelessness.

It's the sadist in me.
