Howard Roarke was loosely based on Frank Lloyd Wright- he, like Rand herself, inspired a legion of acolytes and cultish devotees. Even today, the Taliesin Foundation sells reproductions of Wright's designs for house, all done exactly, pecisely, to the letter, how the Master Himself would have done it.
