Status: offline 		I am extremely curious about CBT. I believe I will really enjoy it. However, I am also worried, about if I will be able to endure the pain, and potentially embarrass myself. Because I am a newbie to this, and have not found a willing Female Participant, should I start out with a Pro-Domme in your opinion?

Status: offline 		If you're just looking to have your fetish fulfilled, a pro might be the way to go.  Just please remember something.  Seeing a pro is just like anything else.  Not everyone who slaps the 'pro' label on themselves is necessarily any good at what they do.  Some pros are knowledgeable and some don't know squat.  Be careful in your selection.

Status: offline 		I agree with Lady Pact. When going for a pro be selective and perhaps find someone who specializes in CBT.
I love doing CBT on guys providing they have the right sort of balls... you just can't do good ball bondage on something that looks like an elephants forehead!!

The thing about CBT is it can be sensual and does not have to be painful. Pulling and stretching and weighting is erotic but restrictive or so I'm told. Then you could go for pegs, clamps, crushing, pummeling and thats going to be painful or you could go for needles, medical insertions and that is either going to make you fly or scare the hell out of you. Its very individual and before you go off for a CBT session you need to ask yourself if you want pain, discomfort or restriction.

Status: offline 		Here's a suggestion: get a MALE Dom (preferably gay - anyone volunteering, Lance?) They will know what it feels like!  I lecture on CBT here locally.  The Dommes line up in the first row while their boys are hanging on the back wall, trying to scratch their way thru the concrete wall. LOL!

I start with a medical diagram, explaining that almost every woman understands female plumbing because she has to.  Almost no men understand male plumbing because they don't have to.  Lots of nods from first row, lots of scratching from back wall, but I do get some of their attention.  I explain that the lecture will be in three parts with a very, very intense demo as the third part. The first part will be basics from the ground up, getting more and more intense.  A break and we continue in intensity, concluding with a weight lifting contest. After the contest, a forced "leave the room" since the bottom for final demo needs to get into headspace.  I will come get y'all when he is ready.  Enter absolutely silently.  Anyone is welcome to leave at anytime during any of the three parts, provided they do so quickly and quietly.

Anyway, I can be hired for whatever group you have wherever you are. LOL!

Status: offline 		P.S.  Ball stretching is one of my specialities.  You can't stretch your balls.... what you can stretch is your scrotum.  This can be done in a pain-free way with the proper attachment(s) and can be done long-term under your business suit!

This is a lot like doctors telling cardiac surgery patients you'll have very little pain afterwords.   Pain free?  Besides, isn't pain part of the fun he's after, anyway?   

And  superman14312, you can learn and experiment along with a non conscientious non pro; but going to to a pro (and have a safeword) is an excellent idea, in that it doesn't come with the burdens of courtship/pursuit/etc...     M

Status: offline 		SnowRanger, London was utterly fabulous, thank you for asking.  Had the bestest of best times and can't wait to complete my move back to the UK next year.  Good to have my kitty back, but that was about the only thing I missed.  And CM, of course.  Hope you're doing well, too.

Status: offline 		of course going to classes and learning about different cbt and possibly seeing it done at public play party's is another good way to see what is out there. before you let someone try it out on you learn about it first and discuss it with your play partner.

Actually, I can't help smiling at your words, PS.  There were several men in the UK I was briefly in contact with, only to have them write me off as "too far away".  Now that I'll be in the same country I won't be too far away, except I've also now lost interest in them.  She who laughs last . . .

Aww, SnowRanger, I'll still be on CM, as obnoxious as always; surely that's something to look forward to?

The best CBT demos in the DFW area are always put on by gay male Doms and the FemDoms always tend to fill those demos! Of course we're also fortunate to have Hardy Haberman here, author of "Family Jewels" and "More Family Jewels".

To the OP, my advice to you, since you already have the equipment at hand (pun intended), is to discover on your own what your tolerance is for different CBT activities. That should at least give you some idea of what you might like or can tolerate. I'm told many men can't handle being slapped on the scrotum with even a hand, let alone a leather slapper or wooden spoon. Find out for yourself and you'll have some idea before you play with a Mistress you might eventually form a relationship with. Its not going to be at all the same with a pro that you've not established a bond with as will with a Mistress you care about and want to please.

Status: offline 		For many of us, pain is a sensation which we can build up a tolerance for and gradually able to endure greater amounts of pain and different types of pain.

sorry ,,I hit send too soon--i enjoy the power exchange, when the Domme tightly binds me to were im powerless to resist
and only at her mercy-its erotic to me when im in pain,that she is having pleasure (i cant describe it very well)
but be aware that once a domme gets into your head, she can and will probe your limits,,and you will like it !!
once i found out what CBT turned me into ( a masochist) i sought /seek a sadist, and they are rare
