Fakes abound online, the same as in real life. Always will, unless some drastic tactics are taken, which would possibly drive away a lot of good and interesting people from sites such as this. And as a couple of others have pointed out, it can be too easy for someone to be branded with the fake label, so you should be damn sure you know who you're pointing the finger at......Having said that..... I saw a profile of a "dominant female" from Ohio, looking for female subs......the picture bears a striking resemblance to a lady that is one of the primary models for JTs Stockroom, as well as a number of erotic sites. Yes......she may live in Ohio, and have ample time from her modeling career to seek out female submissives to do "online only" training...and, in the spirit of friendship, I sent .....her......an email telling how much I enjoyed the JTs work *smiles*.

Lastly, I don't see how someone being new here has too terribly much to do with his concern, which is frauds.

Just wondering if there was any coffee left?
As for 'fakes'...back to misrepresentation on the 'net' or the phone or at work or...as in any interaction care needs to be taken, if you don't like ignore; can't read 'body language' or tone of voice ...and some may be more 'articulate' cuz they can re-write, edit, actually think about what they say (or like Me, go back and correct their typos).
As for the 'real' I think that definition is for whoever is interpreting...as for 'truesub4u' glad that even though you were 'fake' you found the proper One...LOL.

because of my forwardness earlier... I was informed by Mods it was not proper behavior and told to chill... (not exact words mind you... but close enough for goverment work)...... so i'm gonna take their advice... and bow out gracefully.

I apologize if my earlier comment offended anyone. That was not my intention. I was just horsing around and went to far. Though I still feel that way.. stating it in my response was wrong and for that I do apologize....

You make some points that are valid for a dating service, but....and I am pasting from top of home page here...The Largest BDSM Community on the Planet....last time I checked, this is not a dating service. Granted, a lot of people are here to try to meet "the one" or "have fun" but some are just here to come in contact with likeminded people and chat, for example on this forum side. There are quite a few here that may or may not meet someone, but that is not their purpose for being here. Even if this was a dating site or service, there are people on those sites, especially since paying members and not standard members, have multiple nicks and profiles, and it is overlooked possibly because they do pay. (That is a guess...I have no idea why it is overlooked, but I feel sure the site is aware of at least some of them, as I can tell at a glance it is the same person). That said, we are all supoosedly adults by the age restriction here, and should be able to look after ourselves. Surely there is someone besides that person you mention that may interest you here on this site?????

By the way, smiles....welcome to the boards and CM. I hope you find whatever it is you are looking for......

I agree with your comment, but I think the fakery being talked about is more along the lines of fake photos/profiles rather than saying "you're not a real dom/sub" etc.
