It appears that most of the people that fill the "ethnicity: native american" box are fakes... OK, that's part of the deal, there are millions of people in this world trying to scam any "mogo" they can find, but why do they choose Native american? I did a search on this ethnicity on my first days at CollarMe and found a few real Native women, most of them being real nice too (and of course a lot of fakes, but this is the rule of the game). I did the same for this year's new ladies, and I believe maybe one or two of them are real over more than a hundred scammers. So what? Where have all the Native been? Just because Obama's one of them they feel they don't need BDSM anymore? Hey, wake up ladies, he's only one-eighth Cherokee! And yes, I'm not at all, but I'm more available...

Or it could be stats. The smaller a population, the smaller the group of said population will be involved in any particular interest. Whatever it is, I highly doubt someone would decide they don't need BDSM anymore because anyone got elected and particularly not a group of people.

Wow... that makes complete sense! That Cali - she's smart. I never thought of that either Miss. It does prickle me that we think "American" means US citizen... that's bugged me for a long time. We don't even have a word in English that MEANS U.S. citizen! I like to use the word "estadosunidense" for that... but that's my own personal buga boo. ETA: I know a lot of native Americans... in So. America.

Everyone who I've ever met who identifies as partly native american does not look as such. Due to statistics, it definitely is an ethnicity that is difficult to find dominant in a person now-a-days. The number of "pure" native americans is pretty low to begin with, let alone the number from that set who might be into BDSM and registered here. Good luck though.

i have ties to 5 different tribes and I'm not shy about it. it does not mean that i am not enough native just a part of my heritage, as is Irish dutch and German.

America. Don't forget that the full name of the country is "The United States of America". Yes, geographically speaking, "the Americas" refers to the entire land mass of the western hemisphere, both North and South America, but as far as I know, only one nation uses the term as part of its name. So when you're talking about national citizenship, it's not really as ambiguous as it might seem at first glance.

/shrug When you say Native American I've always reffered to it as North American, no offense to most US citizens, but I prefer to not be affiliated with you since I'm up north in Canada :p

{Fast Reply} Greetings all... He is actually right. Most who list that are fakes. Sorry folks, but that is one of the give-aways that indicate a fake. By itself, it is not. Combined with other things, it definitely is. If someone is offended by the facts, sorry...get over it. I have about a dozen flags I see all the time. Native American is only one of them. They are getting better tho. They do learn. A few of them even read the forums. Most of the ones who have been posting awhile no longer use Native American. They learned we were spotting them that way. They may be crooks, but not all of them are stupid. Be well.... Malkinius

On a serious note, I'm Native American. Wanna see my family tree? It goes back far enough that there aren't last names. My Grandmother's name is Lily on Water. My Grandfather on my mothers' side is Burning Far. I get the green eyes from my Great Grandmother who was Canadian. Does that make me less of a Native American or a fake? I'm rather proud of my heritage, we're a mixed bag of Tribes and have a rich heritage.
