Perhaps this thread would have got better results had it been posted in the Ask a Master thread?
As for me, I'm still tearing my hair out trying to think of a fictional submissive I liked or admired. I like the situations they get into in the fiction, but I don't recall many that I go away feeling that this person is like me or that I could easily be him or her. or that I admire them. For example, Pheadre was too much of a pure masochist for me to be relate to her. I could never have partnered for life with a vanilla man the way she did; for me the masochism and need for powerlessness are inextricably bound together, so I have a hard time grasping her.
I don't even like all the submissives I create in my own stories. I purposfully make some of them bitches just to try out interesting ideas and predicaments; many of them aren't exactly role models. But one of these days I'll remember some character or more likely someone else will post it, and I'll agree.
Ok, one name. Nathanial, a submissive shapechanger and male stripper from the Larell Hamilton vampire series has a cute personality (and, from the way she describes him, is very bishy). But Hamilton's vampire doms, like Asher and also J-C to some degree, are hotter.
