quote:
ORIGINAL: Sanity So you admit its a game. They're shirking their responsibility... Instead of doing what voters want them to do, the Democratic leadership is playing games... and there are those who smugly support that (as long as its their side doing it). What a strange world. quote:
ORIGINAL: tazzygirl exactly rule. if the state's opt out, then the congressional candidates dont have to answer for that come election time... so they think.. so they hope.. who knows... maybe they will, maybe they wont. Would make sense to do it this way, take the spot light from the center stage and split it up among the states, watering down the intensity. Florida may be interesting in two aspects.... it has a high population of retirees. it also has alot of low income workers. the results of such a bill will be interesting to watch. A game? Sanity, when you decide to actually discuss what is happening and leave the blaming game out of it, the only one i see playing games is you.
