Well, I'll help you out. How about I tie you up, and butt fuck you for weeks on end.

Is that the type of change you wanted. Your post is rather generic.

lol Because, I meant it in every sense of the word. I was used to moving around all the time, and now I haven't for a while, and I hate my job and I am trapped, and I can't find a Dom no matter what I try, everything I try to change in my life doesn't work out in general with changing careers, etc. etc. etc... and as much as I've wanted to settle down before, my life is just more like a long period of waiting in a temporary state, not settling down.. it's driving me crazy. I kind of feel like recruiting a.. um.. what.. sail boat.. and going.. elsewhere..

I'm not sure what to tell you.

You're Young:26
You look attractive from your picture.
You seem reasonably intelligent.

If you're stuck then you should try something different. 26 is plenty young to start over again.

Perfection is the enemy of progress. No Person or Situation is ever Perfect, if my memory serves, I think that is what is jamming your wheels.

Hiya, Hermione!

Sounds like you're going through an early midlife crisis.  That's when people in their thirties get bored with their lives and usually end up doing something stupid to screw it all up.

I'd suggest taking a week off work and do something completely different.  Go to Mexico.  Climb a mountain  Attend a spa.  Visit Colorado and be the love slave of a Jewish Dom.  You get the idea.

And I know that you're having a hard time finding a compatible Dom.  I and several others have suggested before that your requirements for one might be too limiting for you.

I'd be happy to exchange cmails with you if you'd like.

Again, it's probably the limitations in your profile that are making it so difficult to find a Dom. Not that I'm saying you should change them but it is going to take more time to find the kind of Dom you require.

As for feeling trapped in your life, you have stated that you used to move a lot, what changed and what is keeping you from doing it again?

I hate to say this -- well no really i don't -- me hate to say something-- yeah right.   I just went through this with a friend of mine, he was always complaining about how he doesn't like his life, how this is wrong, how that is wrong, how he hates his job and wants a change etc.  And in the end i told him look, YOU have to decide where you want to be, where you want to go and then determine a way to get there and FOLLOW-THROUGH.  No one else will do it for you.

The thing is many people feel as you do and what it comes down to is while they want change, they aren't willing to put the work, the pain and frustration sometimes into it to have what they want.

Good luck

I've been there and to be honest I still have days where I'm like this is the pits where is the fun and excitement? And Steven is probably right it's that phase where you do things that are incredibly stupid. I use it to take bigger risks, like traveling, or applying for a job that I wouldn't have before because of fear or whatever. Sometimes making little changes help I know it sounds weird, but I cut off ten inches of hair and I still have guys that wouldn't have looked at me before crawling all over me. It adds a little spice and excitement.

I don't mean this personally, but as a generic point---

When you are bored, it's because you are boring.

Look around. How is it even possible to be bored? Get involved. Get interested. Get doing something.

Boredom is self-inflicted. So are stale lives.

Good luck.

Everything in your life can be changed.  Someone else can quote it I'm sure, but what's the saying about what % of what you are feeling is perception (self created reality) vs. what honestly is going on outside around you?  Read one of those books like "The Secret" that helps people develop a more positive attitude.

Or, take a chunk of time and get into volunteering.  Using idle time to get grateful and help other people at the same time does wonders for the attitude. If you are an animal lover, find a local shelter and offer to dog walk for 2 hours a week and see how you feel that day compared to other days. The combination of the walk, the unconditional love from the dogs and the gratitude from the shelter owners will give you a lift.

The problem is that once in a mode like the one you are describing, it's easier to wallow in it than to make change.  You can pick up the phone and be volunteering inside of an hour, but it's easier to come up with reasons that you don't have time or can't do something. It's your choice whether or not you want to continue to feel blue and bored.

Don't count on another person-like a boyfriend to make your life ok.  You have to make your life ok yourself.  No man will do this for you.

Once you are ok with you- then if a man comes along great- and if not- then so be it.

If one relies on another to be happy- it wont be long lasting.  As the other person will eventually grow weary of  you having no life of your own.  Even if it seems like it will work at first.

So be happy with YOU.

If you ate today- then right off the bat you are better off then nearly 1 billion on the planet....

Write down a list of things you've always wanted to do but never done...when you're finished, start at the top.

If you're bored with your life, volunteer to help those less fortunate than you.

Spend time with a shut in, let them talk about their good old days.
Many animal shelters can always use a helping hand.
Instead of wanting to be entertained, be entertaining to others.

Your life is what YOU make of it.

I liked everything everyone said, but, honestly, my main problem is a situation with my career, where I can't move without a LOT more school - that wouldn't earn me anymore money, and I already work like 60 hours a week, and I always get home at 9pm and have no life, and didn't know anyone here when I moved here. I also tried to find any other possible job in my field without moving and I just couldn't - there are never any jobs posted, so I spammed every single place that could have a job, and I got tons of interviews, but in the end, nothing worked out. My job is really unstable and it's scary I can't find anything else and I don't know what else to do. I went to school for it, so I can't just give up my career, and then, I thought about going to school, but all of my credits are out of state, and the colleges here won't accept them or most of them, and if I moved back to where I got them, it would be out of state tuition which I couldn't afford, so, .. yeah. And my extreme subbiness /shyness just makes me fearful of going out and doing social things. So between all of that........ yeah. I'm just not sure what to do with myself.

So, besides making excuses of why you "can't" change your life situation, what are your options?

And... if you were to lose your job/home/friends and family next week (hypothetically) what plans do you have to improve or change your situation?  Would it really take something that drastic to inspire you to make that change?

Sometimes "tough love" is the brightest light there is.
