The three paddle criteria was just my requirements for Sophie, not for you ydd. Sophie's new and, because she is, I just wanted to make sure there was sufficient bias from some of us oldies left around here to make sure she realized she was a newcomer, and to feel uncomfortable in being one.
After all, isn't that what we, who have been around here a while, do?

FAIL!

Damn.

i had another name on here from May to August, but never posted, only lurked. i decided i didn't like the name and switched to this ID before posting. In the two months i've been posting i feel i've made lots of friends and gotten lots of advice. *happy sigh* Maybe it's just me, i'm special! lol

I think the Mods have left him to his own devices.  Maybe it's Mod or Mob?  Good ole XI needed a weekend off.  [:)]

Poor woman probably didn't know where to start.

If we're really lucky by the time she comes back the op will have taken all the rope we've given him and hung himself. Wonder what the record is from first post to permanent ban.

somewhere between 18,000 and 20,000 - and that would be my first profile on this website.  (RIP pianogirl)

The quote, below, brings up an important, & OMG -- thread relevant -- point, one that 3 year olds instinctively know: how to enter a social group.

Ya watch. Watch until some understanding of what the group is doing is reached. Then, the 'socially successful' 3 year old (yep, there've been studies) will attempt to mimic what the group is doing & to blend into that whole . . . . . & it's what every age group older than toddlers does, too. Or, at least, the 'socially successful' . . . . . ..

& which model we can see in what the lovely SubOnlyForHim used most successfully . . . . . .
