The whole premise of that idiotic movie was to show that Cuba had better health care than America. It is simply not true.

Ever since the '60's, the right wing has mistaken love for country with agreement with it's policies. When will it be realized that "My country right or wrong" is not the same as "My country is always right"?

Do you have a bee in your bonnet?
What in the world are you talking about?

I am watching the movie "Sicko" as I sit here and type.
It is a documentary about how many American citizen's are SUFFERING
because they have either NO health insurance or inadequate health insurance.
Are you one of those people that want the ugly truth's that exist in our country, buried?

That is clearly NOT the premise of the movie.
You are actually funny tonight.

The movie "Sicko" is about:
1. American's that have no insurance.

2. American's that can not afford to pay for certain neccessary medical treatments.
3. American's that have been denied medical insurance coverage.
4. American's that have inadequate coverage.
5. American's that can't afford to pay for their prescriptions.
6. American's that fit into some of the above categories that Michael Moore took
to Cuba, so they could get some form of free treatment/care/or prescription drugs in Cuba.

There is nothing in that movie that "glamorizes" Cuban hospital's, and neither Michael Moore
nor I would prefer treatment in a Cuban hospital.
But I am sure most people would accept treatment in Cuba, rather than go without treatment/prescription drugs in America.
The point at the end of the movie, is getting treatment/prescription drugs in an impoverished country is better than going without those services in America.

Ron Paul thinks the public option is a form of Socialism.
Hummmmmm
Michael Moore says Capitalism has failed.

Well it is failing, but it is not all the way dead, yet.

I think Michael Moore won this fight, but then I like Michael Moore.

Perhaps, you should do research on economics before you talk about who won this argument. Ron Paul is right when he says "we don't have an capitalistic system: we have corporatism."

Also, if you want to learn about a solution that will actually help this country. How about you read the book "End the Fed" by Congressman Ron Paul.

How about you research and read what you want to read and I will research, read and watch what I want to read and watch.
This is a message board, and I am allowed to share my opinions.
You sound a tad hostile dude, chill out.

I wasn't trying to be hostile towards you at all. And yes, you do have your right to your opinion and I respect it. However, I was challenging your statement on when you said " I think Michael Moore won this fight, but then I like Michael Moore." I don't think liking someone is a very reasonable reason to suggest why someone won something. And, the reason why I brought up the book was so you would understand as to how much Ron Paul understands economics. I am sorry if I angered you.

Aww, I was not angered my little cupcake.

I would like to learn more about Ron Paul anyway.
But, honestly don't you think people tend to like and gravitate towards other people who share
similar points of view?
Isn't that almost always the case?

I tend to agree with what Michael Moore has to say 8 times out of 10, so of course I am biased.
At least I admit I am biased, which is more than what most people will do.
Thank you for such a kind reply.

You misunderstand, Mia...I was not saying that you were not on the side of exposing the ugly truths about this country. I was saying that there are those out there (names not mentioned) who think that Moor is un-American because he does so. I was not aiming it at you, but commiserating with you.

Aww, you all are so sweet to me tonight.

I am sorry I misunderstood also, I had a hard time trying to decipher what you wrote.
Let's all hold hands and commiserate.
