Okay no joke. I went to grad school with a guy who had a barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. We called him barcode boy. I always wanted to ask him what the function was :P I think someone said it had something to do with that show dark angel.


More recently I worked with a guy who had a barcode tattooed on the back of his shaved head.


Okay so much for that. I don't want a tat that's apparently common. Back to the drawing board. My sis went to a tattooist who destroys the design once he has used it so that noone else gets it. I think I'll go to him.

mine are definitely not, but she asked me point blank one day if i was married. i thought she thought her husband and i were spending too much time together. He just gave her this wild-eyed stare and says "No, but she's been with someone for several years." She emailed me a few days later telling me she was so glad her husband had me around, she loved seeing him smile like that again. i was really thinking "oh crap" then but she and i have become pretty close and we've very much discussed our bisexuality. They invited me to a convention. Sir was going to allow me to go but my son got sick. i sooooo cannot wait to see her again and see what i can get into   She's a beautiful woman with some awesome body modification. She does piercings and i'm getting quite interested in that also!

Considering my tattooist has put a tat right above pussy I would hope his wife wasn't that insecure. lol She isn't bothered that he flirts and is playfuly. He is a a man after all. We joked last time that I was devirginizing his apprentice by letting him do his 1st tattoo on me.

Obviously, she wasn't jealous at all. Otherwise i'm quite certain she'd have never emailed to thank me for making her husband so happy, nor discuss intimate sexual things with me. i just always have that paranoia, because i've had to deal with so many jealous people in life. It was quite a relief to finally (yeah this sounds egotistical, but is true) have someone NOT be jealous and think i was trying to steal their man!

Status: offline 		Pixie you could surprise him by having the design all picked out and the spot for it to go on. Tape the paper to the area and see if he would like it there. Not the same as you getting naked and there it is, but one way to surprise him.

Status: offline 		I didn't get a tattoo until I was in my 40's. My daughter said it was a midlife crisis kinda thing. That, and my ex-husband told me not to do it, so of course I went ahead anyway. I remember that the artist said I'd want another, and he was right! It's just a matter of deciding where to place it. Visible tattoos are not for me, and I already did the tramp stamp thing, so what's left that's not going to sag, or hasn't already?

Thanks! i love both the colorful and tribal. my back will be all tribal. Right leg is the colorful, cartoon jungle theme. One of the other artists is asking if he can do my left leg, has some really awesome skulls picked out. i'm nowhere near ready to start it yet, only have one small skull on that leg to see if i liked it.

Status: offline 		Agreed; I found the neck didn't hurt at all. The ones behind my ears hurt more and they are tiny. Also, weirdly, the two unfinished pin-up girls on my shoulder blades hurt like buggery, yet many people told me that area would be pretty much painless.
