MH,

I didn't know this was a humor free zone "g"

truthfully I have no idea how to find a submissive, in r/l they have always found me. We were at a mixed party (some kinky, some not) and the host was givng a demonstratin in her dungeon, all I was doing was walkiong around the party and had 2 who could not keep their eyes off me, we thought about playing and I went out and brought back a flogger, had it laying over my shoulder and my little one tucked into me, I thought the girl was going to faint she was staring at me so hard. I can't explain it, I never could, though I am sure my little one could give you a 100 reasons why off the top of her head.

Ah, the sixty-million dollar question. If you find the answer, market it.

Take heart dear one,

The question is a difficult one to answer...and perhaps with as many answers as there are ones who seek the answers?

in my opinion, it may very well be because this sort of thread happens quite a bit. Ffolks come on and post a thread about 'why can't i find?'... it happens quite probably on a daily basis. And there is no easy answer to Your question, Sir. It is the same here as it is in r/l... maybe a bit more difficult, but You wouldn't expect to go into a department store and announce "I'm looking for xyz" and expect to get immediate replies. i guess the best answer is the same answer that Aanyone can expect... just keep going forward. It will happen, maybe not as quickly as You would like it to, but anything worth having is worth waiting for. (Sorry for the cliche')..

Just my opinion.

By getting to know her and allowing her to get to know You.
By being patient and knowing that it will never happen over night, may take years to find her.

D/s is not much different than any other relationship..there are ups and downs as we take this trip. Just really take the time and it will happen.

And it seems those who tried to actually give advice, though subjective and nebulous though it may be, are ignored for their efforts.

Going by this post of yours, the elusive woman you seek is most likely living next door to you, and you are so despondent and oblivious that you wouldn't notice her if she hopped over to you already cuffed and shakled and handed you an 8 foot boullwhip.

Sorry that the replies were not in keeping with the complete somberness with which you posted, but hey, we aren't all slightly more depressed than Eeyore. There were a few really good and insightful replies, you chose to skip over them, apparently.

Good luck to you in your search and welcome to the boards.

But of course treasure, however perhaps because MasterJ001 is a Master, those whom he desires will be attracted to a Man rather than a male human. For the record I do not cast aspersions of the submissive males of our family, I also know the strength and fortitude the male subs of my circle of friends bring to their relationships.... Now being the right Man is such a personal issue and has a chemistry all of it's own doesn't it my treasure?

Don't doubt Mon Ami that I jest when I reply that my reply was "By being a Man andnot a man". Allo me to expand my views. However to do this, I must use an explanation of what it is to be a Gorean Master. I urge you to take this to heart as perhaps a blue print and if you desire, just "deGorise it and substitute a more appropriate phiisophical or lifestyle system suitable for you. However the principles apply of what it means to be a MAN.

Charastics of a Gorean Master

1) Honor.. in all

2) Dominance.. of himself and of those who depend on his command

3) Consistency.. in his dealings with freepersons and slaves

4) Strength.. to not be swayed from his principles

5) Self-assured.. not dependent on others for approval

6) Curiosity.. to delve into the individual

7) Wisdom.. to understand what curiosity has discovered

8) Maturity.. to understand, but not misuse, the power of his Mastery

9) Sensitivity.. to have interest in, and to listen keenly for the concerns and issues of his slave

10) Compassion.. to hear the true feelings of his slaves, and to deal fairly with issues raised, within the confines of his principles and command

11) Accountability.. to accept the responsibility for the behavior of his slave and himself... to accept responsibility for the safety and security of his slave.. and to deal honorably with any issues that arise for either concern

12) Courage.. to stand up for principles and honor.. and, courage to stand and admit a mistake when he recognizes one has been made

13) Advocate.. for the endurance and prosperity of gorean culture

14) Ally.. standing shoulder to shoulder with other advocates of Gor

15) Mentor.. to others who have need of his example

That's rather insulting. I was dead serious with my advice and with my comment. Dumb luck and timing are way underrated. It was only by dumb luck and timing that I met my Master.. and it only worked because he was the man and Master who I was attracted towards.

If that's the level of insight which you have, I'm not surprised you haven't found anyone yet. You pass by serious with the mistaken notion it's a joke.

Uhm...I never joke about chocolate. That is a hard limit!

Seriously, I enjoy lightening things up a bit...it's what I do in life, it's what I do here. When I feel the need for a serious post I do ...but...this question...hmm...well...doesn't reallllly have an answer.

It's like...'what is the meaning of life?' Or 'what is my purpose in life?'

It's different for everyone. We all find our own way.

I follow the chocolate path someone so kindly laid out for me! (thanks Truesub!)

Hey you think I was joking, but did ya see all of the little submissives ready to fall into the trap?

The wonderful Celeste was correct that sometimes finding that perfect one is just dumb blind luck. I was lucky that the wonderful little girl who passed emails with me lived only 15 minutes frm where I was. Pure Dumb Luck to find her, but to claim her is a different story all together.

Now that I have been branded a jester, lets be serious I was only half kidding about the chocolate trap, you need the right bait to attract them. You would be well served to listen to the wise old bear. Be a MAN, not a man. Confidence, Integriety, Honor, among several others he listed, when these are a part of your life and how you conduct yourself, it will flow off of you as you enter a room and I promise the little submissives will notice. I have found some of the most wonderful submissives in the strangest of places simply because they feel it. Myu little one would tell you I fill the room when I enter. You live by those standards, you build yourself and it will be noticed, you will wonder where they were before. Now it also doesn't hurt if you have that wrapped over a big ball of primal energy, but thats another story all together.
