Again let me clear up your confusion ....hypocrisy,to wit....constantly preaching against big gov't....bitching about every dollar spent on social programs....talking about the ills of a run away federal butget and corresponding deficits........and than championing a draft and mandatory service.
Give me a break....you "conservatives"strangley abandon your ideals whenever you get a chance to tell others how to live.None of you seem to remember your core beliefs as long as you can jam shit down the throats of others.
Your ideology is one borne of convienance and is stoked by your desire to maintain the status quo.....at the expence of all of those that don't qualify for your tent.

Actually mike, I don't have to go to the lengths you do to insult someone.

"Us conservatives" are guilty of ramming shit down people's throats?  We are guilty of being hypocritical?  Tell me then how many of the progressives serving on the hill want to give up their Cadillac Care Plan.  Tell me how many of the Hollywood elite want to give up their health care plans and be forced onto the government system.  Tell me, mike what the fuck would a government program that shuts down the private enterprise of insurance and FORCE employers to provide it for their workers be?  Tell me, mike...what the fuck would a "Fairness Doctrine" that mandates that all radio stations must supply comparable time to the airing of opposing views from what the stations now offer be but a forcible airing of viewpoints that can't find enough favor to be carried at the same level as other progams?  Tell me what the fuck it is when the government mandates that companies that are of a certain size MUST hire certain people...whether or not there are others better qualified but the wrong color/gender/religion/sexual inclination... so that a "fair" representation of all categories is achieved if not ramming others' beliefs about what fairness is down people's throats.

Reading comprehension problems? You said that conservatives would be against a draft, I said you are confusing conservatives with libertarians..ie conservatives would tend to favor a draft (but again conservatives are not all of the same mind on all issues), libertarians not.

Injuries and such sometimes have the last word.....and than you have to go play all those other teams....some of which take Yankee money and stick it in their pockets rather than putting it back on the field.
You all hate us....but you need us.Hell in some cases we are the only thing that fills up your damm ball parks.
Love us ,hate us.....no never mind to me....The one thing the rest of you never do is ignore us.

I don't know Mike, I think it is pretty common knowledge that the entire free world hates the Yankees, except for New Yorkers and ex-New Yorkers.

Sometimes the truth is a difficult pill to swallow.
