Have been busy on the weekends getting things ready for winter and trying to enjoy/take advantage of fall weather. Three weeks ago we picked up the two tons of fuel for the pellet/corn burner we use for our primary winter heat source. Two weeks ago we went hiking both days, along with photo hunting, then came home and worked on photo editing and framing prints. This last weekend we went to pick up half my winter supply of hay for the big spoiled fur babies.

This next weekend I am going to do pre Thanksgiving prep as we have to do our family thing early.......on the 14th. This is due to my adult children being as stubborn and pig headed as I am, and one of them not mature enough to know when to lay down verbal arms and forgive. aka........he is still pouting and mad at me for me telling him off. Soooooooo, to have maximum family ( including my grandsons, his sons), present even though my son will be sitting home alone, torturing himself thinking of the pumpkin pie and homemade rolls he LOVES and will be missing out on while he 'teaches his mother a lesson' (insert mega eye roll here) and the rest of the family has a good time gorging like hogs. As my grandmother used to say, "cutting off your nose to spite your face"..

Basically, life is good. Busy but good, and pretty much par for the course in my life.



LaT, I'd love to see some of your photos!

As far as your son goes, I totally relate! My adult son was pissed off at me, and didn't even come to visit after I was home from the hospital (he was there the day of surgery). Sometimes I wish I could shake some sense into that pig headed fart!

October was full of pain after surgery. With a paralyzed right diaphragm and partially collapsed lung I was in bad shape. Post surgery my breathing has improved and I continue to heal.

Status: offline 		You can tell it's autumn - the wardrobe swap is done, the button mums are in full riot, the kitchen smells like muffins and stews and the bird feeders are drawing visitors. There's been a bit of 'crazy busy' but things might be settling into a routine again.

Status: offline 		I'm kind of out of the bdsm life these days. I'm living in Michigan now, and things are getting a lot better than they were only a month ago. November is going to be an interesting month for me because it is the first time I am participating in the November Novel Writing Month, which is an activity where novelists (and budding ones as well) attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. I'm already 9,000 words into my newest novel, and this is only the third day of the month.

As soon as I get the website up, I will link it here. And yes, adult children can be frustrating at best. However, as wrong as I was, and I admit it, I lost my temper and pushed right over the line.....I apologized and fully admit my error....he is now just being a twit. I hope the smell of turkey and pumpkin pies waft the 20 miles NW to his house! He will be one of the few Iowa family members not enjoying the fun and feast.

Status: offline 		This month has been fairly craptastic for me so far - I'm hoping like crazy that things get better soon. Good health wishes to everyone, and good luck with dealing with family. I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to be able to see my family for Thanksgiving - I'm going to a different facility temporarily, so I don't know if I'll be able to or not. It will suck if I can't, though, because that's when my family does their Christmas.

Status: offline 		Ive been sick pretty much the entire month of October, this nagging flu that wouldent go away. I did however manage to hit up the Mushroomhead Halloween show with my lady. It was recorded, so it should be coming out on DVD soon here.

Status: offline 		Things continue to go smoothly, in spite of a desperate need for more time.  Unfortunately, I had such a fantastic holiday in London that I'm both miserably homesick now that I've returned and simultaneously upbeat because I'm hoping that my move back to the UK will be complete sometime around the end of February.  I will at least have the pleasure of an extended Christmas visit from someone I met through CM.  We started out as friends and it's progressing nicely from there.  And, yes, it was completely unexpected.  Maybe the old saying should be changed to "Don't seek and ye shall find."

I am having an interesting time with my new sub, a great guy but NOT a person I would have chosen out of a lineup!  Just a happy gift from the universe.   My main computer is semi deborked, but not 100%  For reasons I have yet to fathom, I can't get to CM boards on it, so here I am on the laptop.  I can check up on y'all on the BB, but it won't let me post, either!  HARUMPH to technology!

The parents are in Florida for the next ten days or so, so I am HOME ALONE, except for the parrot!  Lookie, if you are reading this, I can pick you up at the airport anytime.   In the meantime, I am luxuriating in being able to eat whatever and whenever I want without having to worry about someone else's needs or interests!  My doll stuffs are all over the landing awaiting inventory, then the YARN (eeep) will get the same treatment.  I continue to fight the good fight against the moth infestation that came with a batch of parrot food.  GAH!

Congratulations GIRLY!!

Status: offline 		All good here, got "new ears" at the beginning of the month and love them! Though now I think Master has the TV a bit too loud LOL! PhD rolling along ahead of schedule, also getting a nice lot of other work done, just wish they'd be a bit speedier with the pay. Looking to do a bit more travelling until mid-Dec, when we plan to hole up for the silly season, no wish to be on the roads then.

Had fun last Sunday with a different afternoon tea party ... a 21st birthday celebration for My cat! And to those who wonder about this being on a bdsm site ... well, she was tied to her chair and forced to cross-dress (interspecies at that!). And if you think that party hat I so lovingly made wasn't humiliation play for a cat ... well, you don't know cats! She did look cute though and settled down quite nicely once I started delivering food (mini-sandwiches which she ate bread and all, and bits of cocktail frankfurter) to her plate. Definitely worth doing, our cat-loving friends and "neighbours" where the van is loved it too.

Have been talking for a while now with an overseas slave (despite My usual rule not to!). It appears he has the means to visit here and hire his own little campervan to drive around with us for a while, he's looking at May next year which would suit us fairly well too. I'm playing it slow and steady and not getting emotionally involved at present, and still in the process of verifying whatever I can about him. Time will tell, so many drop off ... but so far he hasn't. Meantime I am hoping to visit local lads as I travel around too!

Hope those who need to heal do so soon, those who have moved find new friends and the rest of you stay well and safe and all of you have a good time!

Things are awesome here in Texas. The weather is incredibly warm and I'll be attempting to cook my first thanksgivng dinner all alone. It's a small gathering only three of us but a challenge nonetheless.  Black Friday I will be in the stores shopping my heart out of course. It is my favorite day of the year. I love this time of year because all the pretty holiday clothes are in stores. If anyone wants to keep up with my rantings they can check me out on twitter. I'm BitterTweetKytn there.
Have a Joyous Season.
Oh and on one corny note I'm a sucker for Xmas Music so if anyone wants to post their favorite holiday cd's (that's music cd's LOL) i'm interested.
