I moved near the beach and am having a wonderful time being 'back home'. Dropped 18 lbs and am having fun with family and friends.
October seemed to be a month where many were feeling sick and I also craved rest, hearth and home. It was movie fest month with pot lucks and sprawling bodies.

Happy to be back in my favorite clothes. Meeting some new people from cm and it's all good.

Got a call last night from my cousin down in columbus (who is now officially the biggest badass in the world). He managed to get tickets to THE big game in Ann Arbor next weekend. I will put up with the stench of the state of michigan just to watch the old Scarlet and gray kick the shit out of those arrogant bastards

I'm doing alright. Halloween was fun, and within the past two weeks, I've arranged to have my apartment subleased and signed a new lease, so I move out within the next week. I'm also working on switching over to the Treasurer of our local group, and a liason of the board to a nearby group as well. Definitely been busy. Christmas sounds like fun, and I'm looking forward to my break off from college as well.

I'm having surgery two days prior to thanksgiving.
It has made me irritable and stressed.

Soon, November will be over and on to better things.

Good luck with the surgery, Lady Jag.

We just took a big load of stuff out of our garage to GoodWill - and found some adorable pink-glittery sneakers for the female replicant. I'm also looking at a sewing cabinet there - my mom is going to meet me over there tomorrow to give me her opinion on it (she knows way more about these things than I do). Now I just have to get my room rearranged so that my sewing stuff (which is quickly growing out of control LOL) will go into my room ... mostly so that Holly doesn't know how much I have *eep!*

Life in CA is pretty good. The house is officially put together as far as I'm concerned. For a while there, I thought the moving boxes were never going to end but I've more or less found a place for everything now. As for clip, the news is good. They are in the middle of transferring him into what I believe is going to be a safer location for him. Literally a day after they had started moving him, the crew he would have been with got hit by an IED. (That's improvised explosive device for those who don't know.) The truck was destroyed, but all the men came back with minor injuries. I really don't care to comment any further on that.

So, how are you? What's happening in your world?

i hope MP's mobility on that side is gradually improving :) From my experience, all sick people, or those in pain can be ratty patients *grin* - i'm a terrible wuss !

i am so relieved that clip had such a lucky escape!! Obviously, he was not meant to be with that crew at that moment, on that day, and the Higher Power made sure he wasn't :) i bet You are counting the days until he is back home, safe.

You guys are in my thoughts - that's meepy news about the house and remodeling - if Master Charles permits it, would You like a visit from He and i when i am back in the US December/January? Do You get snow in CA? In Allentown, PA, it's kind of 50/50 whether Christmas itself will be white, but i can hope :P Yay, sledding!!! Snowmen!! i feel like a big kid looking forward to Christmas :)
