and it's so cute cause today at the grocery store her and her momma were up front, and I aws at the back of the store, and S was calling for me, she was like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauntie where are you aaaaaaaaaaaaauntie I am loooking for you, but of course I didn't realize what she was saying till her momma said she's calling for you because her little high pitched voice made it sound like something else entirely but my heart melted a bit when I realized she was calling for me looking for me in the store.
I never got to see my nieces or be a part of them growing up even though they were here in sacramento cause their momma was to busy to make much time for us to be around them, and my other niece is 5 now and in washing ton and has a life of her own she's starting, going to school and stuff now, and she was very particular about who she liked to talk to, and not knowing me didn't really want much to do with an aunt she never knew.
so yeah it's heart warming, to be an honorary auntie.
