I was limiting my study to collarme members, which may or not be representative of all the Dommes in the U.S. From what I have seen most older dommes aren't looking, or they want a sub that can support them in a 24/7 type relationship. I have no way of counting age groups who aren't looking, switches, and hidden profiles. We also have to assume that lots of profiles are total fakes. I wouldn't be surprised if a large percentage of females on this site are males posing as dommes. There is no way to count those either.

No, I have no respect for married men who attempt to cheat on their wives, and then try to use science to explain why they aren't having any luck, simply because the women they encounter aren't willing to be partners in a deception. The problem isn't using a scientific method, it's the faulty hypotheses that underlie it.

I suspect that after people exit their young adulthood, many of us have evolved a fair idea of what we want in terms of a partner, and many of us have settled down into stable, long-term relationships. And, since some people regard CM as primarily a hook-up or dating site, I'm going to guess that some dommes in committed relationships may not frequent sites like these simply because they are in LTR's and are not looking.

I am a freak of Nature in more ways than one, I guess. I am 42 and a half years old, in a rock-solid LTR (married actually), and I am here with My Husband's blessing and encouragement. We are not, however, full-on poly. It's possible that I am a statistic all to Myself.
