I'd say more Marxist than Stalinist. She speaks English like Chico, is about as trustworthy as Groucho, about as funny as Zeppo and about as much to be trusted with any duties of any importance as Harpo.

dont talk about tazzygirl like that.

Eleven counties agreed on a candidate. The Palinists didn't like her (rhino). So they forced their own candidate into the race, and poured literally millions into ads attacking her.

People have the right to choose their own candidates--not Palin and Beck and company. They have a national agenda; we're choosing a local representative.

Forced with only the Palinist choice, people elected the Democrat (a minority party in this district).

I don't mind her exposing her views, however much I disagree. I VERY much resent trying to bulldoze our candidates--including bulldozing the Republican choice.

Yes, my opinion. But nothing about her actions here had anything to do with democracy.

Since when are truthful ads an attack? Since when are truthful ads denying the people a right to choose? You are choosing a local rep to serve on national issues. Forced with only the PEOPLES choice (DS had no chance), an unknown 3rd party candidate lost to a Dem who was endorsed by a supposed Republican, and (last I looked, maybe not the final count) lost by less than her count.

If you want to call DH a "Palinist candidate" then you may as well call every Dem elected to national office in the last 6 years a "Soros candidate".

Sanity -> RE: Change it back! (11/6/2009 6:59:35 AM)

The real problem is that Sarah Palin enjoys her freedom of speech far too much, right along with FOX News and Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck and even Sanity and willbeurdaddy.

Obama and Soros can campaign or pour money in there... but those fucking Conservatives need to shut the hell up, the reason being that Liberal ideas just can't compete.

Do you really think that if you keep shouting the "conservatives are being robbed of their right to free speech" lie, people will start believing it? From what I've seen, the conservatives had their rights fully observed. And the voters exercised their right to say "we aren't intrested".

You seem utterly incapable of differentiating the concept of someone saying "you shouldn't do this" with someone saying "you're not allowed to do this" No one is suggesting legislation telling Sarah Palin, Fox or any other conservative that they can't expound any idea they choose. We are just saying that, in our opinion, what they are saying is bullshit. That is free speech too.

ORLY?

MucisMystery: "People have the right to choose their own candidates--not Palin and Beck and company."

Sure sounds like a call to silence those who don't agree.

Sanity -> RE: Change it back! (11/6/2009 8:06:52 AM)

Point out where I shouted "conservatives are being robbed of their right to free speech" Spinner.

This is why I've given up on responding to you, and to tell you the truth I usually don't even read your posts.

Then you're going to have to provide the proof no one else could find.

When Conservatives can't even win in a conservative district without lying to shut down her fundraising (ability to respond to attacks), something's wrong with the message.

In this case, the message was "you local people don't have the values matching our national agenda, so we're going to Palinize your primary choice. We don't give a shit about Fort Drum, farm issues, unemployment, or that our Conservative candidate doesn't know a thing about any of these."

Oddly, voters rejected this. Imagine.

And they would have rejected Scuzzyfavor as well, imagine.

" It seems to infer that someone is trying to take away or doesn't support your right to say what you wish. This is a constant tactic of yours. If you do not believe that anyone is trying to do anything to interfere with the rights of such notable conservative thinkers like Palin, Beck, yourself and Wilburdaddy I would ask that you say so clearly.

And here I thought you stopped responding to my posts because I asked hard questions like what you expect from republicans or if you had any other agenda than screaming how awful the democrats were. Or maybe it's when I point out the amazing lies and unconcionable spins you put on every posting. Sometimes it's easier to run from hard questions.
