Speaking from experience.

UM's do have a sleep mode, however, it is set to activate when it is least convenient for the parents.
I have also (cant find a scientific way to prove the theory) that UM's at that age seem to be able to draw caffeine and stimulants from their natural surroundings, thus allowing them to go extended periods without sleep.

Dont worry too much, the sleep system gets real active when the start school, then they are almost impossible to wake up.


I admit that not only can UM's draw stimulants from their surroundings, but also borrow awakeness from the future. This is why when they hit their teens you can't wake the buggers up!

My son slept for 45 minutes twice a day. That was it. It was amazing how much you can get done in that short a time.

I admit DesFIP, I agree with you, however in the recent weeks she wears me so out, that I need rest myself when she does have a nap🙊🙊🙊

I admit somehow that was much easier when I worked as a nanny with others kids🤔 Though no surprise really...they haven't had my genes😣😣😣

I admit don't get me wrong I love her to bits and pieces but I do realise that I am not 25 anymore😔😔😔

Yeah, considering the way I feel today, it was 1855 years ago (alternating between laying hard wood floors and mowing grass on 2.56 acres with push mower)

I admit, the anticipation of a new flogger is always fantastic.

Not sure how many of you live in the NW, but...I admit I have had it with smoke. Can't go outside and do anything. Can't see the mountains on the other side of the valley. Can't see the blue sky, which I am just assuming it's blue because we haven't had rain.

I admit we need rain and cloudy skies and wind and what would help the most is some snow.
I admit I did not want to say that last thing after the record snowfall last winter, but it's true, we need snow.

I also admit, I believe I am the oldest person who comes to the forums anymore. I turned 66 this year. Finally went to the doctor due to the shoulder pain. He gave me the bad news which became good news in it's own way. I have no cartilage which is bad I guess, however, it means I can have steroid shots as there is not cartilage for the steroids to eat up.

I admit I am 50, feeling 150 (been sick for a couple of days finally saw doc today and he got me on zofran).

I admit that during my feverish delusions, I thought rats were in my bed.

I admit I accidentally skipped 2 days of mental meds because of the queasy stomach, hence the delusions.

I admit I apologize to Jeff for not getting on Star Wars yet but when you are sick, the bed is number 1 after taking ibuprofen and tons of water.
