I admit that I've worn glasses since 3rd grade [8D]

I admit that I too, have worn glasses since the third grade.

I admit that I wear a mouth guard to bed each night because I grind my teeth badly.

I admit that I look a teensy bit different in my lovely coke bottle glasses and mouth guard than I do in the pictures that I post.

I admit that I am torn between my love for Stewie Griffin and Rollo Brown.

I admit that I think Seth McFarland is a fucking genius!

I admit that I'm pretty damn sure that you're still beautiful, even all "nerded" up [:D]

I admit that I agree about McFarland.

I admit it I took one cat to the "pound", actually the Humane Society.  I admit it I gave them about 7 numbers that they could call to get in touch with me if there was a problem finding a new home for her.  I admit it I checked their website the next day & it said she had been adopted.  [:)]
I admit that there are times when one's circumstances change & that is a better solution than euthanization or dropping them off somewhere to fend for themselves.
I admit it I am climbing down off my soap box now.  [8D]

Except that at my pound those owner relinquished pets are the ones that die first (which is why I admit I hate it when owners drop their pets off). I totally understand extenuating circumstances I just think as an owner it's a responsibility to try to find a new home for that animal first instead of dropping it off in a cage somewhere. But humane societies are different in every town sometimes they aren't affliated with the animal shleters and sometimes they are no kill.

I admit that it's fully within my rights to feel the way I do about this situation [:)]

The SPCA shelter in our area does not put down animals unless absolutely necessary (seriously ill/injured, massive overcrowding, extreme behavior problems). I prefer to use no kill shelters if an emergency placement is needed. I take in strays temporarily, but then pass them on to those who can do more. For my own fuzzies, I would do my best to find a home for them if we had to part ways, but if it got to be too late, I would not hesitate using many of the agencies on my list along with our local SPCA. They are all good people and I appreciate how hard they work to do the absolute best by every animal placed in their care. I know it isn't like this in all areas, but I am very fortunate. I even have resources for exotics like birds, reptiles, and ferrets. Nobody has to be homeless. [:)]

Agreed!!!!!!!!!!!

We have the humane society here which is basically the animal shelter through the city..... It's not no kill. Although in all fairness they do try to keep the animals for as long as possible as long as they have the space. IF they don't it's two weeks and then the animals get put down and those pets owners have relinquished are the first ones they put down. :(

We also have the SPCA..... It's no kill. I like the organization and what they do and support them love that they are no kill, but I don't adopt from them because 1. those animals won't be put to sleep ever (Which is totally fantastic) B. It costs 400 dollars and I know they are trying to recoup their money, but to me there are more desperate animals out there. They have a huge shelter they just built from donations and fun events. PLus they don't screen owners before they adopt to look for if they have bad pet history etc...

Then we have two smaller no kill animal rescues. Both which screen owners extensively and foster animals in their homes etc...

i admit the thought of Mr Mark in bifocals made me want to : : THUD : :

i admit i'm kind of hoping he will.

I admit that my dreams turned into freaky nightmares yesterday and I called my sister in a panic.
I admit my nightmares are too f'in real sometimes..waking up with the taste of blood in my mouth has its moments.
I admit I did a cruel thing today...I squeezed a guys hand that was bandaged a little too hard just to see him wince.
I admit I felt a thrill at doing it and no guilt at all.
I admit that I really want to hear a man scream "Mercy!"
I admit I won't give it to him.
I admit I'm much harder on women than I am on men when I play with them.
I admit it's not a sexual thing when I'm being sadistic, but seeing and hearing a woman beg and cry flat turns me on.
I admit it's been over a year since I got to let that side of me loose.
I admit it's harder and harder every day to contain it.

i admit i kinda got turned on at the thought of Twisted's admitions.
i admit i'm not ashamed to admit that, either.

Our city and county shelters are extremely high kill, but they do screen potential owners. The SPCA here isn't no kill, but they avoid it as much as possible and do screen owners also. The no kill shelters do everything through foster families and adoption "shows", so they have as little overhead as possible. As the better accommodations go up, so do the adoption fees, but no one here is about $125. The city, county, and SPCA also cover an initial check up (though not any treatment/shots needed) and partial cost of spay/neuter as part of the adoption fee, so it really is not bad at all. The SPCA is $75-100 for an adoption.
