I don't recall cancelling a meeting, and have never chickened out.

That said, I have had one (recently) chicken out on me (another site, wasn't too surprised) with no contact, call, or consideration. They are off my list and I have been known to share... I have met one from here, and it was a very nice meeting -- done in a coffee shop with safecalls (at least on my part) and the other safety items about which I lecture (or so I am told). Even posted it on the positive experience list.

IronBear, I love the malamute test. I have a slightly different one, as I am currently not owned by a four-legged, involving wolves and foxes. Funny that such is your test, as I have been looking into malamute rescue here. The main thing slowing me down is that the home I bought does have a fence, but am not sure how sturdy it is. I really don't want to come home, find part down, and the dog doing the canid equivalent of walking around whistling innocently... truesub4u, I agree -- if they don't like the Duke, not for me. :)
