My first domme was 17 years older than me (she was 40, I was 23), so I'm not against the idea of an older domme. It's all about chemistry and connection. Now, is there an age limit for me? Personally, I would try to keep it under 50, but if Raquel Welch says hi, well...[;)] Seriously though...I'm owned by most wonderful domme I could have ever hoped for. It is all preferences, imho, i have been rejected for being too old, not good looking enough (not directly stated, but communication stopped when i sent a pic), for smoking, for having too much baggage, for not being outraged enough at the suggested scenario any number of reasons. There is, however, someone out there who considers me a "catch" and others who think i am okay. i have always believed that if there is a reason my partner is not enjoying H/herself, there is not much of a way for me to enjoy myself. well i don't know if this helps any but my Lord is in His 50's and His wife/my Mistress is in Her 40's. i figure as long as who Owns me isn't around the age of my grandaparents or as young as someone who could be a son or daughter it's all fine by me.

i think i'm gonna have to remove the age limit from my profile, cos ive recently played with a forty year and omg hes an amazing Dom and i would love to be able to play with him more....just the slight issue of him being in another country ninety per cent of the time lol

What does age have to do with it??? Its all about mind set!!! Be superficial and all it can get is BS (in alot of cases) I have been asked what do I seek (in My one) thats a good question the best answer is I will know when I meet her(in real time). My former Dom was 23 years older then I was… it was really kind of hard to maintain a physical relationship after awhile; because he had ED… {Erection dysfunction} I never told him that, that was the real reason I asked for release… and please, no hate mail, I stayed with him for 7 years…

Reading thru these post I have a question. Why do the younger ones think that when you reach 50 that you are going to die real quick on them. Why obsess with getting older or dying. Your going to do both anyway. Setting limits narrows your ability to live a good life with a great person.

Speaking only for myself i do not worry about an age difference. Older than me, younger than me, that simply is not an issue for me. i am more concerned with compatibility than whether or not they are "too old" or "too young"

I'm a sucker for older men...but within my reasons ofcourse. People have their preferences based on a myriad of reasons and it doesnt necessarily make you "less attractive" to them or it may. You have your preferences as well and they are just as good. I Personally prefer men atleast 10 years older than myself because I just seem to get along with them better...and I'm a heck of a lot older (mentally) than my chronological age...so most men around my age...just dont do it. I have yet to bring a man who is my mother's age to her house (but I have to mine) and it's still somethign that I'm getting comfortable with. As long as the person is active...(as in able to do some or most of the activities I enjoy)...who cares.

In my mind, people of all ages can be in the lifestyle without discrimination. For me, i look for a person where, if needed, i can introduce to my parents as one of my friends and where my friends can have something in common with my Dom. Though at this current time my Dom is quite a few years older, which is why i have need to keep this lifestyle under wraps in regards to family and friends. So no, don't give up hope, and best of luck in finding you another sub.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I wanted to weigh in that my dom is 53 and I'm so happy I got over my age thing (I once was someone who wouldn't want to date someone over say, 40 or so. Within the past year I've had two lovers in their 50's and I had/have a really good time in bed with both of them.). I'm 35 and at this point in my life think I'd be happier with men older than me than younger men, as they're more confident and settled in their lives (not to mention the level of experience they can have... experience counts for a lot). You can't interest me much in a guy in his early 20's. Sure they're cute at that age but I like a man with substance and life experience (and a man who knows his way around a woman's body). There's always exceptions to the rule but right now I'm enjoying my time with my "older" man. I wouldn't trade him for a younger dominant for all the tea in China. ;-)

From the age of concent I was lusted after..grins..at 46 that started to slow down at 50 its slower still...and yes girls my age want younger guys,but Not all of them..lol I cann't say it doesn't bother me, but if their not willing to see "me" and not an age..frankly, its their loss.After all, its hard for a girl any age to keep up period,hee-hee!So what, I was never that easy..Why should they be too? my first twue master was 52 (so he said), and i was 35. he told me after his birthday that he was actually 63, not 53. i wondered why he lyed to me and he said he was afraid i wouldnt want an older man. whatever! i couldnt even tell! being older made me respect him even more, because he was still strong as a horse.

The oldest Domme I will currently consider for a LTR would be about 40; the reason being, I'm currently 22 (physically, anyway; all my friends keep telling me I should be over 30), and roughly twice my age is a good limit, in my humble opinion. -Einzelgänger
