Yeah? i could jump on my soapbox and tell you some amazing tales you'd wonder if were true, but i could prove were.
my biggest one is the monster was said to be doomed to life in a wheelchair, was supposed to be unable to walk, talk, function by age 8, if he made it to age 8. The monster is now 13 and appears "normal" on the outside. He walks, talks, and can even feed himself. Oh, and of course, we went through this alone, with the encouragement of "i don't see how you do it." from most. *eye roll* We just DO.
