Hi, it kinda puzzles me that you use the word, "slap" when it comes to a woman hitting a man, but when the man hits the woman, it's a "punch". There's a good deal of difference in these two kinds of hits and the damage that they can inflict. And as for slapping children? not on the face, but a good shocking smack on the ass if the child is out of line. That's why there are so many messed up kids now; because parents cozen them too much and allow them to get away with murder. Back in time, if a child misbehaved or was rude to his/her elders, he/she was properly disciplined for it and was a better person for it in adulthood. Parents show too much leniency with kids these days.

I dont have kid s so I wont comment, Im not violent, Im just saying if a Woman is a threat to a man , She needs to be restrained for both people's safety, like if She pulls a knife, but no I would not try to restrain a Woman who tried to slap me, instead i would get hold of her hand if she was about to raise it towards me

What i meant it was semi acceptable socially in the popular imagination for a Woman to slap a man, You know there are ads and films where men are slapped by Women and people find it acceptable, there are comedies where men are slapped by Women but it is definitely not acceptable for either sex to slap children no no no and it is not acceptable at all for men to slap Women, not in the popular imagination anyway

I must not argue with people enough as I have never noticed this trend. 

The next time I have an arguement with the other half I will remember to check his hand placement.  It might be a while though, so no one hold their breath.

Ummm. . . I know the term "coon."  It is short for "racoon," especially if you are going to be eating it.  It is also a derogatory term if said by *me.*  I had never heard the term "coonass," however.  Is that some sort of coon mix?  Or are you jsut being funny?

It's a slang term for a cajun (french/canadian ancestry). No one is entirely certain how the word came about, but I certainly don't think it's based in a derogatory way to black people. Racoons, maybe...
