I read the series several yrs. ago and rather enjoyed reading the journey that many of the women in the series took.

Status: offline 		I think if a woman had written the Gor series, there would have been a bit more humour in them. John Norman was a bit dry - as in boring, in the later books. He was all "down bitch and fufill your genetic role". Obviously he had lots to say about it, but it could have used a bit of lightening up along the way. Yes, i know, i am insulting "the One" but come on ... they weren't the best written things in the world.

I'm curious about how you came to this opinion, since as you've been noticing in this thread it's not terribly standard. Do you consider yourself gorean, did you get this opinion from a series of fantasy novels?

Status: offline 		Coming back to this thread I would like to know why users would call themselves slaves and are called property by their owners when the majority of users in this thread agree a slave can offend and foul-mouth and belittle and make fun of others without restraint and without any foundation other than that users who think differently are idiots and should be called names and relocate their balls for having an opinion. I would not even consider a vanilla partner behaving like the current slaves on here.
