Probably not what they had in mind but there would be plenty of 'eating' involved

An interperatable question..

If I was going to be executd: the still beating heart/s of those that put me there.

If it was a natural death (Terminal illness): I probably wouldn't care but what ever I could keep down.

If it was a natural death (sudden/accidental/heart attack etc): Since I woldn't know about what was to happen, the question becomes a moot point.

2 pound steamed Maine lobster with brown butter. 12oz porterhouse steak, medium rare... grilled. Screw the veggies... if it is my last meal I should have to eat them why?

Right up my alley, Gauge.

I'd go with fresh abalone{rolled in bread crumbs} sautéed in a little white wine, garlic and butter, the 12 oz Porterhouse {meduim}, fettuccini with a little garlic , butter and fresh parmesan, and finally, asparagus. I'd add a bowl of some good spumoni with whip cream and a marchiano cherry on top for desert.

Sean Connery...and I thought of that BEFORE I read Raven's post....although after reading Iron Bear's I would add the still beating heart of the person who falsely accused me, if I was being executed.

Roast turkey with all the trimmings!

a la Thanksgiving style.

Stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn bread, the works.

Oh, and gravy ... mmmmm .... gravy. I swear on some cold winter nights, gravy should be a beverage all on its own.

Oh, and since it will be a last meal, the triptophane will be an added bonus ;)

Damn it, now I'm starvin'

Alaskan King crab with lots of real melted butter.. and I want it already out of the shell. A medium rare rib eye steak with fresh lemon to squeeze on top, thick sauted mushroom & shallots to go with the steak, a baked potato with mayo on the side and for dessert.. a slice of my grandma's homemade pecan pie, Texas style .. not the way they make it here in the midwest.

Our pecan pie is good, isn't it? How do they make it up there, by the way?

There's nothing like homemade pecan pie made by a Texan. Of course, being a Texan I may be a bit biased, but I don't think so. ;)

I do have a list for my final meal, but the main idea is that in the ordering, with specifications, I'd probably be facing a natural death before I specified the coffee (either a coronarary or old age. either works)
